Did you know the internet existed 100 years ago? Well it did. And it was pretty much exactly the same. The world itself was monochrome and grainy, though.
Continuing the 90s theme started by SomeGuy, here is a fine (is dragged off laughing like crazy) selection of clips from pop songs of the late 90s (you know, back when MTV still played music). Love em or hate em, these songs were all over the place. Are you old enough to remember?

What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

The title is uber-misleading, since the original is called "The Prehistroic Planet", with the whole "women" thing added later to grab some eyes. Anyway...A spaceship crash-lands on the a planet in a distant solar system, killing nearly all hands. When a rescue ship arrives some 20 years later, the child of two crewmembers, Tang, is the sole inhabitant of the crash site. One of the rescue crew, a girl named Linda, meets Tang and falls in love with him, as it is. But then the natives attack, and things aren't so keen in paradise...
