What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.

What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

Next Episode
Despite the title, this is not a movie about female tennis players. Nope, it's a movie about female wrestlers! Aren't you all excited now!? Anyway, our flick this week deals with a crook who's a manager for women's wrestling, as well as several other more shady activities. And as usual, he owes the wrong people a lot of big bucks. The SoL gang have their work cut out for them having to come up with endless riffs for endless rasslin' scenes.

But first, Larry and Sue think they're ready for marriage, but the advice of an all-knowing and wise marriage counselor may make them think twice

Host Segment Highlights
Crow and Tom decided they want to dive into wedded bliss together, but can they pass the Cosmo Compatibility Quiz? Jan-in-the-Pan provides a little "entertainment" for Crow's bachelor party. And then we finally make it to the ceremony: beautiful, endearing, poignant... RASSLIN'!!!

Whether a seasoned vet or new meat, we invite you all to come on down! Movie starts at 8pm EST/5pm PST, room opens at the :30 beforehand.

We've almost got this one in the bag, thanks to the voting of the few. It seems two months was favored, meaning it's ten straight weeks of Rewind (including the one at the end of this month).

And while the voting is almost complete, with six of the nine episodes decided on multiple votes, there are still three empty slots to be taken up.

The following episodes each received two votes. Your task is to choose three, and the top ones will fill up the rest of the schedule.

Alien from LA.
The Beast of Yucca Flats
The Deadly Bees
Jack Frost
Parts: The Clonus Horror
Quest of the Delta Knights
The Sinister Urge
Soultaker

Just a reminder, all voting needs to be done by November 19th, which is next Friday.

Next Episode
An alien is dispatched from a faraway galaxy to take over the Earth (of course!) by duplicating humans and creating a race of zombie-esque creatures. Kolos, said alien, soon find it difficult to complete his task when he develops feelings for a blind girl. But the duplicates have a defect, and it all leads into some sort of climatic battle of climaticness.

Host Segment Highlights
The 'bots want to be improved, and showing your craftiness is a good way to prove the improvement, right? But insulting another does not you a good man make. Servo takes a cue from the movie and duplicates himself, though his duplicates are pretty defective. Hugh Beaumeont swings by for a visit, and find out which way Crow and Tom really swing...

So you know that feeling you get....

When you hear this song and don't really care about it, but then you stumble across this really cool thing making fun of that song, and it's awesome but as a side effect you end up with said song stuck in your head?

Well, if you didn't know that feeling, now you do.

It's that time of the year again! What is it, you ask? Movie Sign Rewind! You see, several episodes hold a place in members' hearts...or they missed episodes...or something. It seems only right we should take some time to rewind back to those movies and relive the good times and riffs.

However, we're looking to do a bit more this year. With two years and 112 sessions under our belt, it's been discussed as to whether we should expand this to two months rather than one. That means re-watching episodes in both December and January.

So in your comment, please say...

- What length of time you'd prefer the Rewinds to go.
- If you want to watch a Christmas episode or not.
- And obviously, which episodes you'd like to watch. Use this list to remember which ones. Choose whichever ones you like.

If the Rewinds go on for December, then choose 4 episodes, if you include January, 9 episodes.

Questions? Episode title escaping you? Drop a comment!

All voting needs to be done by November 19th, with probably one or two more rounds coming after this post to get everything narrowed down.
