There was a show David Tennant was pitching to NBC, called "Rex Is (Not) Your Lawyer". In it, Tennant was to play a Chicago lawyer who has anxiety issues and stuff of that sort.
Well, it never got picked up, so there goes that. However, here's a clip from the pilot. For added fun, play the "What accent is he going for?" game.
Personally, he sounds like a Canadian trying to be a Midwesterner to me, though that was a difficult conclusion to reach. I prefer calling it "the Tommy Wiseau" accent.
Well, here we are.
We've watched one-hundred Z-grade movies - some of them twice! - 29 shorts, and 499 host segments. You'd think we'd learn and move on by now, buuuut we haven't and we aren't. We were deemed great and even called nifty, so obviously something's right. But please don't be afraid, as we love the new meat. Come on down, give us a try, and see why we've been going on for so long.

What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

In Laserblast, we follow the tragic story of Billy, a laid-back teen with mom issues, but who still has a girlfriend and a van. One day, he stumbles across an alien weapon lying in the desert. With gun and medallion combined, Billy turns ruthless killer and seeks revenge on those that have wronged him. But will the aliens get their gun back, or is the killing urge just too strong?
After the movie, we watch some more bloopers and mishaps from the show with MST's own reel, Poopie 2.
