A weekly chat to watch and enjoy the new season of Doctor Who.
What is Doctor Who?
A long-running British scifi TV series about a mysterious man called the Doctor, the last of the Time Lords, who travels through time and space in his TARDIS, a ship disguised as an old fashioned Police Box. The Doctor and his various companions explore the universe and battle evil wherever they encounter it.
This Week
The Doctor is sealed inside the Pandorica, Amy is dead, and the TARDIS has exploded, destroying the universe. But hope still lies in a young girl who believes in stars...
BBC America will also be running the entire season starting at 9 AM EST up to the finale. The chat room will be open most of the day for anyone who wants to watch the marathon.

In the Philippines, we have this popular fastfood chain named Jollibee. And just like any other fastfood chain, they have a bee mascot named --- well, Jollibee. And like any other fastfood chain mascots, the Jollibee mascot is present at parties for little kids to enjoy.
But unlike regular Jollibee mascots, this particular mascot has some extra groovy moves up on his sleeves, with a touch of mascot cuteness and sexiness(?). Enjoy!

What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.
Next Episode
You could almost call this a knock-off of the James Bond films, but it's kind of a parody and kind of...not. We've got Neil Connery instead of Sean playing the titular hero against the evil "Mr. Thayer", who has stolen some atomic neculei. Neil hypnotizes people and goes out to get it back. Dance hall girls, locations, horns, and a craggy killer nun round out the film.
Host Segment Highlights
Joel found his old home movies, but even those can't cheer up Frank, who's so down he does his own take for the invention exchange. Later, Joel gets inspired by the movie and struts around the set and says "I know" to any objections. Then the crew graphically compare the lives of Sean and Neil Connery before heading back to Frank, who's going to give us a number on the accordion. Lastly, Dr. F magnetizes the SoL. Why? For cheap tricks, that's why.
