What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.
Next Episode
Deep in south Florida, we've got a group of swamp-dwelling hicks who are suddenly under attack by - guess what - giant leeches. Sultry Liz and her thick-lover Cal are snatched by said leeches after being chased into the swamp by Liz's chunky grocer husband Dave. Once they're taken, the hicks become outraged and pour into the swamp with hounds and torches, but game warden Steve is the one to play hero. Ever seen a knife fight with a leech? You will now!
Before all that excitement, we've got a short - the first part of Undersea Kingdom. "Crash" Corrigon is a hard-wrestling navy man who joins dotty Professor Norton and seven-year-old Billy in a search for Atlantis. 'tis a silly place, they find out.
Host Segment Highlights
Almost a year ago, we had our first experience with the Holo-Clowns, and unfortunately, they're back. But luckily they're done away with, leaving us the crew to wonder what they'd wear if they to take over the world. Then they go deep and discuss their dreams before throwing all depth out the window and singing, from a boat and dressed as hicks, "We're a Danger to Ourselves and Others".

A long-running British scifi TV series about a mysterious man called the Doctor, the last of the Time Lords, who travels through time and space in his TARDIS, a ship disguised as an old fashioned Police Box. The Doctor and his various companions explore the universe and battle evil wherever they encounter it.

The Doctor takes Amy and Rory on a date to Venice in the year 1580, but strange things are happening in the city. Contessa Rosanna Calvierri has sealed off the city from the outside world to protect the citizens from the plague, but is that really the truth? And what is happening inside her school for young women?
