What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

What's in a name? In the case of this nightmare, more than there is in the plot. So there's this slacker named Jerry who goes for a fun day out at the carnival with his girlfriend and buddy. There's also a stripper and her fortune-teller sister who's hypnotizing people into zombies. Jerry falls into her clutches, goes on a rampage... and there's quite a few song-and-dance numbers along the way. If that doesn't say enough, the director is also the star of the film. Bring on the pain.
Host Segment Highlights
The Bots are walking for charity: WALKATHON vs. HELPING CHILDREN THROUGH RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (yes, those are the acronyms) while Pearl drives the Space Kids back home, leaving Bobo and Brain Guy in charge (arguments and poo slinging ensue). Swami Crow taps into the infinite power of the universe using a crystal ball Servo's head in order to cheat Mike out of 50 cents. The nanites give the crew the Big Hair Look and Crow hires a very Torgo-looking guy to cater the final movie break. Finally, Mike rides the Bots' roller coaster... If only it had a track.

A long-running British scifi TV series about a mysterious man called the Doctor, the last of the Time Lords, who travels through time and space in his TARDIS, a ship disguised as an old fashioned Police Box. The Doctor and his various companions explore the universe and battle evil wherever they encounter it.

The Angels pursue the Doctor and his friends through the wreck of the Byzantium, but something far worse is waiting for them. Can they make it out alive? What is the crack from Amy's bedroom wall doing inside the ship?
