I cant recall if this one was ever posted here. And since this is the place for spamming. Ill go right ahead and do so.
Well it seems that that time of year is drawing near once more. Yep, time to get TheO Story rolling once more. I know I slacked last year and TheO Story did not happen. There was many factors that worked into that for it not to happen. So again, I apologize to any of you that were looking forward to writing that year.
For those of you that are seasoned writers with TheO Story a few changes will take place this year. One of the changes will be it will start early this year. The normal start for TheO Story if you all remember is the first Sunday of June. This year I am starting it the first Sunday of May. That will give us one extra month to work on it. As for the other changes those will be listed in the rules/duties sheet when handed out to the writers for the 2010 TheO Story.
If you were a seasoned writer with TheO Story, you know how to get a hold me and let me know if you are going to participate. If not there are three ways: PM, Comment or Email ([email protected]). A rule that has not changed is ‘first come first added’ to the list. Once I have reached my limit of 15 writers, no more writers will be added. Therefore, if you really want in you had better say so.
One thing I want to say to anyone that is new and you are interested. TheO Story is a lot work if you are a writer that comes late in the story. So know now:
If you are not up to doing a lot of reading
Do not like people messing with your writing
Or worried to mess with someone else’s writing.
Do not join. I want dedicated writers. Someone that will do his or her part and do it in the time allotted.
Also, know I am not trying to scare you off. Yes, TheO Story is a lot of work on the late writers, however, even with that. I have never had one complaint. Everyone has always had a great time and a lot of fun working on it.
If you think you might be interested in joining, you can go here and see what it all entails before you finally say yes. Please remember though what you are going to read is the old rules/duties list. There will be changes but nothing real major.
You have until the 23 of April to join or until my list of 15 is filled. Do not worry I will post up from time to time and let you know how many positions are left open. Just incase your still thinking of joining.
Well there you have it in a nutshell. I hope to see a few of my old writers back and of course, I always love welcoming the new. Hope to see you join and I will be looking forward to your PMs, Comment or Emails. Oh, one thing to remember. If you Email me, in the subject be sure you say ‘TheO Story’ if you do not, you take the chance of your Email being deleted. I do not open Emails from people I do not know.

What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

Let's get this out of the way first - the title is probably far more mis-leading than you think. There is no kitten and there probably isn't a whip, so get that out of your head. Anyway, Jody, a juvenile delinquent, escapes from reform school by some stabbity-stab methods and attempts to burn the place down before taking refuge in a house owned by ambitious politician David Patton. Despite her charms, the politician wants nothing to do with her (now THERE'S a plot twist), but she strikes back by bringing her delinquent pals back to the house and taking him hostage. Hmm...now that sounds a bit kinky...title justified.
Host Segment Highlights
The crew of the SoL have had it, and are planning to escape by their most dangerous method yet - direct infiltration! But that goes as well as you would think it does, so that idea gets scrapped and instead the 'bots obtain bionic noises to fool around with. Later, an actual kitten with a whip visits on the Hexfield, though it's probably far less than you're hoping for (or not, depends on your demographic). Mikes takes to hazing himself when the satellite passes over the equator before everything is set right by holding a fiesta on board.

Well, the Super Nostalgia Power Hour was created to celebrate those heydays of animation, because they were awesome, and dammit, we want them back.

THIS WEEK
Digimon Adventure: Season 1
Tai, Sora, Matt, Izzy, Mimi, Joe and T.K. are seven normal kids enjoying summer camp, until they are suddenly transported to another world full of monsters: Digital Monsters! Now it’s up to them to save the Digital World (and their own) from a slew of evil bad guys bent on world destruction.
In Episode 1, And So It Begins, we meet seven normal kids enjoying their time at summer camp when a freak snowstorm hits. If that’s not weird enough, strange devices fall from the sky and transport them to a strange place called the Digital World where they meet even stranger creatures called Digimon that have apparently been waiting for them. What kind of adventure has this motley crew stumbled into?
Then, in Episode 13, Legend of the Digidestined, T.K. and Patamon end up in trouble again when they come under attack from Ogremon and a Black Gear-controlled Leomon. The gang manages to save T.K. and free Leomon from the evil influence and he rewards them by telling them the Legend of the DigiDestined, a group who should be able to bring peace back to Gear Island. The group decides that means Devimon needs to be taken out. Are our heroes up to the task?
