What is this?
Durarara!! chat is when we make a room in the chat room and watch the latest episode of Durarara!! together. Everybody is welcome, just make sure to have Durarara!! ready to go!
What's Durarara!!?
Durarara!! follows several characters in the big town of Ikebukuro, starting off with Ryugamine Mikado. Mikado had just transfered to the city at the request of his friend Kida Masaomi, and finds himself thrown into a city full of mysteries and legends. A super strong bartender, a crazed informat, disbanded color gangs, the mysterious Dollars, and the urban legend, the Black Rider. Who knows what happens next in a city this unpredictable, and will leave you a burning desire for each new episode.
When?
Durarara!! chat will take place immediately after the conclusion of MST chat on Sunday evenings. Since MST starts and ends at different times, keep your eyes peeled for the created room (simply named Durarara!! Chat) at around nine o clock PM Central time (figure out your own timezone accordingly).

What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.
Next Episode
The government knows about aliens going to land, and we know this to be true because it's told to us by no other than Peter Graves. With this knowledge, Lt. Robertson contacts the base nearest the planned spot and berates his subordinates, who apparently are far more interested in peeping in on hormone-raging teenagers than anything else. The aliens land, the teens run one over, and then the plot snowballs into stuff that involves the military, innocent pedestrians, and teenagers doing things to save the world...ish.
Host Segment Highlights
Servo and Crow go through a very brief "best friends" phrase, which may or may not lead into Tom wanting to experience what it's like to make-out with someone. Later, the crew does a celebration of Earl Holliman (I have no idea who that is either) before they delve into a Rip Taylor routine on all the eyes the eye-creatures have. And come the end, our boys present solid evidence that the producers of this movie, like many that we watch, "just didn't care".
