It's a haven in the middle of a harsh, 9-to-5 world. A place where you can gather with your fellow human beings and bond over a paper cup full of cool refreshment.
All sorts of randomness is welcome here. Post pictures, videos, special Chat information, or just discuss news and current events.
Remember the good old days of cartoons? The kind you used to wake up early for on Saturday mornings with the biggest bowl of cereal your parents would let you have and your favorite action figure? Well, the Super Nostalgia Power Hour was created to celebrate those heydays of animation, because they were awesome, and dammit, we want them back.
When is it?
Every Friday starting at 9:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
THIS WEEK
Pokémon Season 1: The Road to Indigo
Ash Ketchum is a 10-year-old boy from Pallet Town whose only dream is to become a Pokémon Master. Follow along, as he, Pikachu, Brock and Misty travel through Kanto on their quest to learn about the mysterious world of Pokémon and try to catch ‘em all.
In Episode 35, The Legend of Dratini, Ash, Misty and Brock arrive at the world-famous Safari Zone, where they meet a very ornery Warden with a (quite literally) hair-trigger temper. After spotting an old photo on the wall, the group discovers there’s a rare Dratini somewhere inside the park. But, thanks to some careful eavesdropping, Team Rocket finds out about the Dragon Pokemon as well, and will do anything to present it to Giovanni. Can Ash and Pikachu help keep Dratini in the place it calls home?
Then, in Episode 38, Electric Soldier Porygon, Ash and the gang arrive at a local Pokemon Center, only to find Nurse Joy in a state of distress. It seems the computer network that transports Pokemon between centers is acting oddly and any Pokemon sent mysteriously vanish. The gang quickly finds out that Team Rocket has managed to invade the virtual world and they go in to stop them, with the help of the Virtual Pokemon, Porygon. But when Nurse Joy decides to get rid of the extra “viruses” (read: Ash, Misty and Brock), will our heroes end up deleted forever?
Also, learn that “but” is more than just something you sit on with Schoolhouse Rock’s “Conjunction Junction.”
You can find The Legend of Dratini here and Electric Soldier Porygon here.

Also, funny story: today at work, I spent a lot of it telling sad people that we were sold out of FFXIII for PS3 (strangely, no one wanted it for 360). One fellow in particular actually groaned and slapped himself on top of his head a few times as he walked out of the department.
