It's a haven in the middle of a harsh, 9-to-5 world. A place where you can gather with your fellow human beings and bond over a paper cup full of cool refreshment.

The Bootleg News Reporter said earlier that a young boy imitating a Sand Ninja attack has died, most likely due to respiratory problems (official reason has yet to be given).
While this is a sad and tragic event, it brings up a series of questions that leave some a bit uneasy. As we are the Watercooler, I ask for the opinions on this event and what might happen, if anything does, as a result of it.
How much did "Naruto" play in this event? How much did the parents? Is there going to be an upsurge to ban the program, much like "Pokemon" and "Yu-Gi-Oh" from years past? How will this event alter the perception of anime, especially ones aimed at children and pre-teens? The list goes on, but these are a few ideas to get a start.

Sorry, the original post got moved when I went to modify the post, so I had to repost it. Sorry for the troubles..
After looking at how this guest poster format is set up, I think for our podcast discussions it would be easiest to create a post announcing a new episode, and then carry on with our comments and conversations in the comment box. This way things stay organized. Everyone making a new post out of their comments would be too chaotic.
