What is the Watercooler?

It's a haven in the middle of a harsh, 9-to-5 world. A place where you can gather with your fellow human beings and bond over a paper cup full of cool refreshment.

All sorts of randomness is welcome here. Post pictures, videos, special Chat information, or just discuss news and current events.

AMV Sunday: Noir - Bare Grace Misery

I miss the Otaku Attraction. I had a bunch of other great AMVs I wanted to send in, although I'm sure some would never have been picked.

In lieu thereof, I've decided to post them on my own, so now every Sunday will be an "AMV Sunday" post. Or every other Sunday, it depends; I need to take stock and see how many videos I actually have, because I don't want to run out of them too fast. Of course, this being the Watercooler, if any of you guest posters have AMVs you would like posted, just let me know and I'll hand over the "AMV Sunday" post to you.

And now, on to the inaugural AMV...

I first found this years ago when I still found all my AMVs through file-sharing. This video was both my introduction to Nightwish and to the anime Noir, which has gone on to become one of my favorites series, and one I highly recommend as long as you can handle a 26-episode series with a very slow build to the end. Noir is more about style than action.

The song used is "Bare Grace Misery" from the Nightwish album Wishmaster. The music at the start of the video is "Canta Per Me" by Yuki Kajiura from Noir OST I.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Top 10 WTF Moments from the Mike Nelson Era

Got talking about MST3K in Chat and went scrounging for things on You Tube. Here's one of them...

I have to go looking for MST downloads now, because I doubt I'll ever be able to buy all of the DVD sets.
