What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.
Buh? Rewind?
A clever way for us to combat death, a "Rewind" session means we've watched the episode before and wanted to watch it again...so we are.

There's a place out there called...Clonus. Those with the money and the power have been able to secure themselves a clone so that, if they were to need a transplant, they can get the exact part they need from a younger and healthier version of themselves. But when one clone starts to question exactly why he exists and how things occur, the suits get nervous. What happens when he manages to escape to the real world...and find the guy he's cloned from? And ohmahgawd, is that Peter Graves?!

The evil trio of Pearl, Observer, and Bobo are camping out on a planet, but are interrupted when three evil space children who ran away from home come and wake them up. Unfortunately, these kiddies have special powers and force the trio to put up with them while they are dispensed...uh..."valuable" life lessons. If that wasn't enough of a sell, there's also a Spanish children's television show version of the crew on the SoL.
