What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, Twe nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

It means we've watched it before, but, due to popularity, we're watching them again! ...And that's all.

"Your movie today is...if one can measure these sort of things...the worst thing to ever come out of Canada!" We're off on an adventure when weenie-boy Troy, still hung up over his father's mysterious death seven years previous, is suddenly attacked by tanktoped men from the Ziox cult. While escaping, he runs into and partners up with drunkard Zap Rowsdower, who is somehow tangled up in all of this.

Pearl is going to take over the world!!! ...one person at a time. Huh. This could take a while. Tom dons his Mountie uniform and songs an ode to Canada, which quickly devolves into a sobfest. But oh no - Bobo's come down with hockey hair and, as it is an airborn virus, so does everyone else...except Mike, who gets his dues when he contracts Grizzly Old Prospector Syndrome.
