Well, the Super Nostalgia Power Hour was created to celebrate those heydays of animation, because they were awesome, and dammit, we want them back.

When is it?

Every Friday starting at 9:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

THIS WEEK

Pokémon Season 1: The Road to Indigo

Ash Ketchum is a 10-year-old boy from Pallet Town whose only dream is to become a Pokémon Master. Follow along, as he, Pikachu, Brock and Misty travel through Kanto on their quest to learn about the mysterious world of Pokémon and try to catch ‘em all.

In Episode 1, “Pokemon! I Choose You!”, we meet Ash, a young trainer from Pallet Town, who is excited to start his own journey to become a Pokémon Master. Unfortunately, he manages to oversleep the next day and gets stuck with a very stubborn Pikachu as his first Pokémon. Will this awkward pair be able to overcome their differences and turn into a dream team?

Then, in Episode 2, “Pokémon Emergency!”, Pikachu has come under attack by a flock of Spearow and is seriously injured. Fortunately, thanks to Officer Jenny, Ash arrives at the Viridian City Pokémon Center to get some assistance. But even she and Nurse Joy can’t handle an unexpected and very unfriendly visit from the nefarious Team Rocket. Can Ash save the day?

Also, learn about all the things a verb can do for you with School House Rock’s “VERB! That’s What’s Happenin’!”.
