What is Doctor Who?
A long-running British scifi TV series about a mysterious man called the Doctor, the last of the Time Lords, who travels through time and space in his TARDIS, a ship disguised as an old fashioned Police Box. The Doctor and his various companions explore the universe and battle evil wherever they encounter it.
This Week
The Doctor has just regenerated. It's never easy being a brand new man with a new face, new personality, even new tastebuds. But this time around it's a lot harder when the Doctor doesn't even get a chance to recover before he's thrown headlong into a crisis. There's only twenty minutes to find an escaped alien convict and save the world from certain destruction (again). His only help lies in Amy Pond, a woman who's whole life was shaped by a childhood encounter with the Time Lord. But is there enough time to convince her all this is real?
Before the season premier, sit down for Doctor Who: The Ultimate Guide, an all-access look into the series including interviews with cast and crew.
When and Where?
BBC America every Saturday at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT. This week we'll be starting early with The Ultimate Guide at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT. Chat room will open at 7:30/4:30.
If you can't make it the first time, episodes will repeat at 11/8 PM.
