What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

If you thought time travel was impossible, think again. With just a Commodore 64 and a small airplane, you too can be like Nick Miller, the hero of our next movie. Enthusiastic about his breakthrough, Nick seeks media attention and financial backing. While one is good - the reporter turns out to be an old girlfriend - the other ain't so much - Bob Evil J. K. Robertson of Gencorp misuses the Time Transport. What follows is an action-packed confusing flight through time as Nick tries to rectify his mistakes.
Host Segment Highlights
Crow goes back in time, hoping to save Mike from his eventual fate as a prisoner on the Satellite of Love. And as usual things take a turn for the worst. Who could possibly be worse than Mike? How about his chain-smoking, alcoholic older brother Eddie? And how many Crows can exist in one time and place before the universe implodes?
