Again, boredom has struck and I've become curious as to what all you fellow otaku think. (Not to mention something like this happened to me recently.)

I'm sure this subject is something we all share in common. Encounters with parents and anime.
Sometimes they're understanding and even share in the passion; maybe they were the ones to introduce you to it!
Or, perhaps more likely, they don't really understand it but let you enjoy it anyway... or maybe the exact opposite.

What kind of experiences have you had in regards to your parents and anime? Did you try to get them to watch an anime with you, but it ended in disaster? Or (like me) do you insist that they listen to some song(s) from an anime?
