What is Movie Sign?
Every week, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. We use episodes available on Google Video so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
It's a comedy show about a man and his robots, stranded in space and forced to watch some of the worst movies ever made as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, talk back to the films and riff on them. You can read up on the show over at the SoL.

We can blame the British again for our next movie, Fire Maidens From Outer Space, in which a crew of five chain-smoking male astronauts go to investigate signs of life on Jupiter's 13th Moon (which, ironically, wasn't discovered until 1974 despite the film being made in 1956). There, they find the remnants of a civiliation composed entirely of women, save for one elderly man who claims to have fathered them all...squicky. There's a monster that haunts the area, but when your zippers are visible, it's hard to be terrifying.

Crow's new friend Timmy (who looks uncannily like the gold 'bot except black) seems innocent enough at first, but he soon shows his true colors when he sabotages a demonstration by Joel, attacks Servo, and ends up in combat against Crow...Can our man Robinson fix the mess?
