Today my little brother and I were in Christmas plays. 'Twas a lot of fun.
It opened with some of the younger kids reciting/acting out a winter poem. Then it went to us older teenagers. We did an Improv modern version of The 12 Days of Christmas. It was awesome!
The story line was two rich brothers were fighting over one girl. The characters were all named for Harry Potter characters. The girl was Lily, and the brothers Fred and George. We had a delivery guy too. (Theo, the boy playing him was only 10 and didn't want to flirt.)
The Lily's, Fred's and George's changed every scene. I was Lily for the first and last scenes.
The show ended with the little kids doing a show titled "a Good Thing About Christmas; A Bad Thing About Christmas"
Unfortunately, the kids missed a lot of cues. I was working backstage with them, and a few of the kids kept crowding around the vom. My little brother didn't listen to me and stand move his hands. They got stepped on. *shakes head*
Other then a few kids missing cues it went pretty well. They were nice and loud, and fairly organized backstage.
