Today (and yesterday) I went tide pooling! It was so cool. I discovered that Hermit Crabs are very social! They were even walking in my hand!

One Hermit, dubbed, Hermy, came totally out of his shell when I picked him up. I felt so guilty! I think he thought I was trying to take his home, and was offering it to me. When I put him down he didn't go into his shell and kept trying to leave it. Finally I picked Hermy up and put him back in his shell albeit his was backwards. After a little while he settled himself in and got comfy. A little later I saw Hermy again and he was happily crawling around.

We also saw a ton of beautiful starfish! My favorites were the Striped Sun stars!
