BBC America has officially announced they will begin broadcasting the new season starting Saturday April 17.
Meanwhile, the BBC have not confirmed a definitive date of April 3 for the UK premier, their official position still being "at Easter".
Personally, I don't know why they don't just come out and say April 3. Easter itself is Sunday the 4th, but Doctor Who's traditional night has always been Saturday. Hopefully they will clarify their position soon.
