The BBC has released thew synopsis for the Season 6 finale "The Wedding of River Song":
As the Doctor makes his final journey to the shores of Lake Silencio in Utah, he knows only one thing can keep the universe safe – his own death – in the concluding episode of this series of the time-travelling drama. But has he reckoned without the love of a good woman?
That night's Confidential will also feature a special one-off mini episode written by schoolchildren.
The final season of The Sarah Jane Adventures will be broadcast in October, with the first 2-part story "Sky" premiering October 3 and 4.
And in the world of fandom, 49-year-old Rob Hull made the 2012 Guinness World Records with the largest collection of Daleks, with 571 different models (including a life-size one) collected over 20 years. Hats off to you, Mr. Hull.
The Doctor Who News Page today has a bunch of videos related to this Saturday's episode, "The God Complex". Besides the usual trailers, there's three clips from the episode, and an introduction by Beardy Darvill.
TVShowsOnDVD have reported the release dates for both Series 6.2 and the Complete Sixth Series.
6.2 will be released on November 8. It includes Episodes 8-13 and two Monster Files on the Antibodies and the Cybermats.
The Complete Sixth Series box set will be released on November 22 (a day before the show's 48th anniversary). Besides the full 13-episode season, it will include the 2010 Christmas Special "A Christmas Carol". No announcement has been made on special features, although it is likely to include episode commentaries and the usual disc of cutodwn Doctor Who Confidential episodes.
Mr. Beardy Darvill sits down with Digital Spy to talk about Ep 10 "The Girl Who Waited", calling it his favorite episode so far and praising the performance of his co-star Karen Gillan.
