So remember a little bit ago mentioning a program called MCskin3D? No?
Well, a little bit back a friend of mine named Paril had decided to make a new skinning program for a game called Minecraft an open ended survival/creative mode that has gotten a LOT of attention lately. Well, while there are a lot of skinning programs out there for minecraft giving people the ability to make their own personal skins for their characters in the game, Paril has been working hard in making a new one that not only allows the player's character skins to be edited and made, but eventually the monsters and even the game's entire look. Well as for me, I was helping him by adding a bunch of templates, images, premades, sample skins, and provided various swatches, and made several icons for the program.
No one knew what would happen outta all this, but turns out Paril's program suddenly became a huge hit. While there is currently no MAC support (which is highly requested) Paril's been working on improving it, adding Mac and Linux support and eventually bringing in those other features.
A little bit ago, someone had started uploading the sample skins I made to various minecraft skin sites claiming they did them. Paril took it slightly worse then I did lol but we got them down and I was motivated enough to sidestep the problem and just upload the sample skins to Planet Minecraft Which you can see here
So I started posting up some skins on the side when I've got a little extra time.
Also: Little kitty is doing MUCH better now. His leg is healed up and no we haven't decided on a name yet.
If you have been playing Minecraft for any length of time, then it's a safe bet you've been at least rooting around a little in the Minecraft forums.
If you have been there recently, then you may have seen a post about a little program called MCSkin3D a program which a friend of mine has been working on for about 2 weeks now. It has been getting quite a lot of attention in the last few days, and I have been the one making the icons for the program, but I have also been doing template skins for people to use in the program itself. If you play Minecraft and are looking to make a new skin, it would certainly be worth your time to check it out.
as of right now, you can only edit character skins, but paril is planning on eventually adding texture pack and mob support into the program~! no utility or program has appeared yet to do that in the minecraft community and he's certainly working hard on it! Meanwhile I'll continue to update with as many skins as I possibly can to make available for people to use.
been forever, I know. No will to draw lately. I have posted a few things up and hopefully some more in a bit. Some interesting news though!
Valcron is the one that's been doing all these pony drawings you may have seen them around. apparently they are super popular amongst the community.
in a recent development, there is a nice new relaxing game that came out named Nature Trek. Not really a gamer? Feel stressed out a lot? Anxiety issues? this game is for you. nice little romp through flowers and trees while relaxing music is played. Worth trying out at least once: http://greenergames.net/Index.html
Meanwhile Been eyeing a couple of games here and there, just gonna give a quick list of them:
Phantasy Star Online 2
Blade and Soul
Monster Hunter Tri G
Also TOTALLY haven't been playing too much minecraft. nope. not at all.
(I made a really nice castle that I am quite proud of)
