I've been trying to fix an issue I've been having ever since I upgraded to Windows 7, but as it stands right now: I can't really draw.
At least not with Photoshop anyway. I can't explain exactly what it's doing, but anytime I try drawing there's a chance that the program could randomly "hang up" and cause my lines to either not show up, or show up in such a way that a circle becomes a straight line simply because the system couldn't track all my movements. It isn't the tablet, it isn't my drivers because I've tried using Open Canvas and it works fine. Paint shop pro also works just fine. I have two versions of photoshop that I regularly use, and both are giving me the same issue. Fighting against whatever it is, is getting tiresome when I draw.
Now I know what you're thinking: "Why use Photoshop when there's plenty of other programs out there, free to use?" And well, I've tried a lot of them, and none really work out for me. Pixia for example is a terrible resource eater. No art program should EVER be using as much ram as that does. I've tried Corel, not only is it slow, the version I happen to have crashes a lot.
I am hoping that we can get my ram replaced soon and upgraded. I'm hoping that will fix the problem, but if it doesn't, I'm back to square one on what to do. I may have to go back to XP. My mom suggests I duelboot, but after having an entire hard drive die on me recently, I don't want to risk taking up anymore space with another copy of Windows.
But there's some good news to all this! I have a twitter now! Why do I have one? I really don't know...
I can do pixel based artwork and sprites for game stuff, but I have also been posting things up at planet minecraft for skins! That's something right >O>?
