wrote this novel I while ago still isn't finshed and you won't get it unless you've played the games but some feed back would be kool

I waited until both my parents were asleep to turn on the computer. I pressed the on switch and it came to life with a hum. I hoped that it didn't wake up my parents. I listened out to see if they were still asleep… I heard my Dad begin to snore. Perfect.
After the computer loaded up I logged on to the internet and placed on the FMD. I pulled my hair back a bit to put the helmet on. A few minutes later I typed in the web address. A few seconds later a log in screen appeared. I begin to type in my user name, but thought I'd check the board before I logged in. I scrolled down and clicked on the new subject: COMA, I opened up the message to find it had been deleted. Weird but I had to admit lots of strange things had been happening in "The World" but I guess like that wavemaster thing that happened about six months ago I suppose it would pass.
Once again I began entering in my user name "Fathom" and then my password . I logged in to "The world" and picked up my controller, I looked around to see Mac Anu, the aqua capital. It was such a nice place I sometimes wished I never had to leave. The clear flowing rivers, the beautiful blue skies and the cool moving wind. I mean I knew it was only a game but after playing as long as I had well you sort of come to love this place.
As I walked through the streets I saw a young Wavemaster dressed in blue walk past me talking about aeromatic grass, but it was a totally useless item although there were a lot of people collecting things just because it's there, but the weirdest thing was the player he was talking to… a girl with the face of a cat, I mean a cat, you can't really get a much rarer character model.
As they walked off I turned the corner to see a young boy, I knew from the weapons he was holding that he was a twin blade. He looked a bit confused so I guessed he was still new to the game. "Hey, need any help?" The boy turn around and I targeted him "Kite" what a odd name ahh well a guess all the really good names had already been taken like Fathom. >_<.
"huh?"
"I said do you need any help?"
"Oh, sorry no not really"
"Ok, cool see ya round"
"All though…."
"Yeah?"
"Can you see my bracelet?"
" What?" I looked over his body and I was pretty sure he didn't have a bracelet. Maybe he'd picked up an item an and thought he'd put it on and well… hadn't.
"No, sorry"
"Oh, well thanks, bye then"
"Yeah, later" The boy named Kite walked off. Weird,
ah well.

"FATHOM , HEAL ME"
"Huh, oh right yeah sorry" I highlighted the only real person I really considered a friend in "The World" known as Mayday. She was still pretty new and she still died a lot (been only level 7). I thought I should be a little nicer when it came to levels cause I was level 7 once. I healed Mayday and continued the attack on the creature. Soon after it was dead and I let Mayday take the treasure, but that was only because I was too busy thinking about something else and she went and grabbed it while I was out of it. Something wasn't quite right about this level I mean only a few days ago an AI was deleted here by the administrators and that mean that the level had only just been fixed but still I didn't like it, it was like I knew something hadn't quite been deleted. I watched though my FMD as Fathom walked though the gates to the old castle with Mayday following me. A creature leapt out at us but it wasn't a match for me and Mayday.
"Cool, I levelled up"
"Good for you" *I won't have to keep healing you so much* I thought ( I mean I tried nice but well it's the truth).
After a while Mayday decided to log out
"Well I guess I'll see you later"
"Yeah sure, later"
A ring of light appeared around Mayday and she left.
I never saw Mayday again. Shame.
I continued though the castle defeating the enemies that stood in my way of the treasure which was going to be mine even if it took all night.
A few hours later I finally reached the statue of the treasure God, the light from the statue emitted a strange glow, at the time I thought it was just FMD's acting up. Usually the light was golden but for the moment it was a bright green. I guess that maybe it was the AI messing with the effects of the game and someone had forgotten to fix it. I walked over to the chest it was yellow meaning whatever was inside was sure to be pretty rare I open the chest but then………………………a monster attacked me….It wasn't there before meaning it was a bug. I drew my sword and leapt at it starting to wish mayday hadn't left she could've helped (even only been level 8). My sword struck the monster's leg and went right though like it was ghost or something. I stepped back to the wall to take a better look at the creature. It was tall and yellow, with a set of horns that came round the back of it's head to form a halo. I'd never heard or seen a monster like this. Had I stumbled on to a hidden event?.
The creature pulled out a red staff and struck me with it , and my heath went from full to nearly empty. It was powerful. Bringing this monster down was going to take a while. I began to heal myself then it raised it's arm and a bracelet formed around it…
The Bracelet..
Kite…was he a hacker and had he created this monster… He asked about the bracelet so I guess that why I thought about him…A large set of spikes shot out of the bracelet and hit my character. Fathom fell to the ground. Then my FMD began to static in my ears, my screen flashed data corruption every few seconds. I tried to rip off the FMD's but I wasn't fast enough. I started to lose consciousness. I tried to call for help but I couldn't. I hated not been able to control my body, smoke bellowed out of the top of my FMD. I felt it begin to heat up. Was it going to explode?. I fell to the floor my brain began to hurt like it was on fire, it was so painful. I tried to do something…but I couldn't. It was over. I'd lost this fight. I tried to stay awake but…….I guess I couldn't in the end.

I slowly opened my eyes. They ached as if I'd woke up without getting enough sleep. I slowly got up and looked around. Nothing, just darkness. I stood up and thought about what I should do, then I realised it was just a dream, how could I look like Fathom in the real world?. I guess I was still unconscious that's if… wait this must all be a dream because I knew I couldn't go into a coma from a game, Or Could I?
It felt like it had been hours …why wouldn't I wake up, unless I really was in a coma but…..this was getting confusing.
"Fathom"
"huh?"
I turned around to see a young girl . She was dressed in white and was very young, she couldn't have been more older then 15. Her blue eyes and blonde hair reminded me of a girl in my class at school that I quite fancied.
"It's ok. I won't hurt you"
I knew somehow without her telling me that I was safe with her.
"who are you, and where am I?"
…"The World"
Then it dawned on me, I wasn't sitting at a computer I was separate from my body. I was in…"The World".
My second home had become my prison. My thoughts begin to wonder..Why was I here..How do I get out…but mainly I was thinking "What the hell's going on?"
The girl in white sat down next to me and four other people started to walk out in the direction the girl had come from. A topless BladeMaster with blue and white markings. The second, a wavemaster dressed in grey. Another BladeMaster with silver armour and then a tall twin blade and for some reason he had a big grin on his face. I turned to the girl sitting next to me.

The Net Crisis
I was only 14 at the time but I remember it pretty well. On December 24th 2005 a crisis occurred. The internet was crashed. A virus called Pluto's Kiss completely shutdown the internet. It was the most powerful computer virus ever created by man, and guess what, it wasn't even a man who made it. It was a 10 year old boy who created the virus by accident (well that's what the rumours on the internet say).
