Herb-ert,
The one you seek,
Can hardly speak,
Without his Maxiphone.
Herb-ert,
Is quite unique,
He can touch his toes.
Alice had been searching for the herb for sometime and didn't realize she had wandered into a garden. She stood up looking around to see all of the plants, but a house blocked her view. Or, atleast, Alice thought it was a house.
In front of her lay a building that was oddly shapped. It's walls where slanted, it's roof was slanted, and it was an odd shade of Green. "Dear me, this wasn't there last time I checked. I couldv'e sworn there was a tree here.." And Alice looked underneath the building to see that the tree she imagined was still there. "A treehouse?" Alice had never heard of such a thing where she came from, and before she could think about it any more, the door to the building swung open.
"Water the plants, and cut the grass!
Wack the weeds, that do harass!
Cut down the trees that have no need!
And pick the herbs in time for tea!"
A strange voice sung this song, and Alice hid, for she was afraid she would get arrested for trespassing. The voice began doing the things he said he had to do before tea, and Alice became worried. "Why, it's almost teatime now! He'll never finish in time! Oh, I know I shan't, but I should-" She thought to herself without looking to see where the voice was going. Soon enough the voice was in front of her, singing the same song, but taking no notice of Alice. "Ex-excuse me.." Alice said coming behind him. The voice turned around and Alice saw that it was a deer standing on his hind legs, dressed like someone from someplace Alice hadn't know.
"Yes dear?" He said not at all frightened by the suprise guest. "Your-your not afraid?" Alice asked curiously, her shyness rubbing right off. "No, dear! Of course not! Why would I be afraid of a guest? I love guests! Besides, Rabbit told me a girl with Yellow hair would be passing through her today and I was expecting you." Alice was taken a-back from this statement. "So your not afraid at all?" "Nope! No,dear. Rabbit told me you needed a herb. I have plenty to share. You just tell me the name of the herb and I'll get it for you." Alice smiled at the deer. She loved how kind this animal was. Much kinder than the rushing Rabbit who left her on her own. "Oh! The plant's name. It's the Phosphorus Magical Herb." She said to the deer. The deer smiled and began to walk in an awkward way back to his house. Alice followed, for she was curious what the inside of the hut looked like.
After quite a while they came to the door and the deer pushed it open (for it had no knobs). The house was smaller inside than it appeared on the outside. However, there was another door on the inside, with a sign of an eye on it. The room was filled to the brim with shelves, they all seemed to contain a bottle with a label on it. Some read the words, EAT ME, Some had the words, DRINK ME, and Alice saw one or two say TAKE ME. The corner, held a desk with a statue of a raven on it, and tons of paper and empty ink bottles. The other corner had a small child's bed, which Alice assummed to be the deers. After a moment or two of this looking around, the deer picked up a bottle and held it out to Alice. The words PmH where printed across the label in gold.
"There you go! If you head outside I think the Rabbit will be waiting for you." The deer said and disappeared behind the other door. Alice waited for a few moments and the deer came out again. "You better not waste his time!" He said before shut the door again. Alice sighed and walked outside.
Sure enough, the Rabbit, was standing in the shade next to the house. "Well, well! You've taken you time! Have you got the herb?" Alice held out the bottle and the Rabbit grabbed it. "EXCELLENT! Now we'll need some type of shoot. I think a Willygrow Shoot will work!" And the set off once again, into the mysterious forest.
