A lot of the time, I don't have patience to color or coloring just takes a very long time. This world is for screenshots of my work-in-progress drawings or pictures of sketches.

Jan 26: V

Recently I got into the kpop group Bangtan Boys. Apparently, there is a fan collaboration video to show the fans' support for their 1000th day since their debut. Even though I've been a fan for less than 2 weeks, I really like their songs, their lyrics, their dances, and their personalities. I thought that if I rushed, I would be able to draw everyone. But I struggled trying to choose an art style that wouldn't be too manga-ish but not completely realistic. So in the end, I tried to draw only V from this picture because I thought he'd be fun to draw. It doesn't really look like him though. I still have to add in the background although I'm not sure what to do with it.

Dec 30 - Jan 17: Practice & WIP

The one on the right is from December 30th. I went onto posemaniacs.com, so I could practice drawing poses since I'm struggling to think of new ones. I found out that I'm not that good at drawing fighting poses.

The one on the upper left is from January 9th. I wanted to try to draw my oc as if in an anime and I used KyoAni as a reference. I paid more attention to the hair, eyes, and face shape than usual.

The one on the lower left is from January 17th. I tried to have it more detailed like the previous drawing. It's supposed to be a WIP of JubyPhonic, but I don't really think it looks much like her. I also used posemaniacs, but you can't really see the pose here.

Dec 27: Chibi Style

I needed more practice in drawing in chibi style, so I tried drawing Veronica from Bokura no Kiseki. Apparently she has a lot of dresses (as expected from a princess). I don't know if these boots actually go with this particular dress, but it was the only boots from Veronica I could find in the manga (but I skimmed through it so I might have missed others). I also need to work on skirts since I'm having so much trouble with them.

Dec 22: Character Ref 1

I finally finished filling out college applications and school break starts tomorrow, so I have time to draw after what feels like so long. I just feel so relieved that everything is done and the only thing I need to fill out is financial aid.

I wanted to use this break to properly draw character references for my ocs because my refs so far have been sketches of their faces. I want to draw the characters with three different outfits: winter school uniform, summer school uniform, and casual clothes.

Dec 5: Stress-Relief Sketches

I like being able to draw in different art styles. The guy is from a couple weeks ago; I don't remember the exact date. It was a stress-relief drawing and it was really fun to draw.

The girl was drawn today. I think I was in a state where I was half-asleep and half-awake; I was half-dreaming and half consciously imagining the story in my mind. I tried to draw the girl from the dream, and I think her name was Lily.
