I was in the Scripp's Speeling Bee at the county level on Friday. I blew it because I didn't speak into the microphone loud enough. Lot's of peoples got 2nd chances because the word-lady didn't say it right. Percolate. That's what I spelled and that is what's right. I knew all the words after that. My friend from the same school but below by 1 grade level won 1st place & got the $5 that everyone gets and the $100 savings bond.
