Hello Everyone :)
This post is pretty much an update of something that happened last night around 6pm.
Well, My story starts at around 7:30am yesterday morning when i got home from work. I didnt really feel like doing much since i was kinda tired, so when i got home i changed and everything and then i laid down and started watching my Season 1 volume 2 box set of Thundercats. I ended up skipping a few episodes on the first disc because i already had some of them recorded on an old tape from a few years ago when they use to show it on Cartoon Network lol. I ended up sleeping for a good while, which is a rarity for me because i usually wake up from time to time because of the smallest things lol.
Well, while i was sleeping, All of a sudden i heard a large crash coming from my closet. I wasnt scared or anything, i was mostly curious as to what it was. i looked at my clock and it was pretty much 6:00pm right on the dot. So i proceeded to my closet and when i opened the door, I found out what had caused the loud noise:
Apparently The book shelf I kept in my closet, that held all of my anime/videogame magazines (Newtype USA, Anime Insider, DBZ Becket books, Toyfare, Shonen Jump, Raijin Comics, Shojo Beat, and all of my videogame magazines dating back to Nintendo Power magazines from the 80's) had collapsed for apparently no reason at all. there was absolutely no way to get in through the door because the magazines basically blocked the doorway and covered the floor space lol. I could see what was left of the shelves they use to be stacked on and i knew there was no way i could repair them, so i just started grabing stacks of magazines from the floor and moving them out of my closet and organizing them on the main part of the floor in my room.
Here is a pic i took shortly after i managed to get all of my magazines out of my closet and organized on the floor in ym room lol
This is a pic of some clothes and other random things that the shelf took down with it when it collapsed. You cant really tell since the pics arent very clear, but all of this stuff is piled on my bed lol.
To make a long story short, I managed to get it all organized again - All of my anime magazines/books are currently stacked right next to my anime video shelves, and all of my videogame magazines are stacked in my closet until i find an alternate plan of action for where i can put them lol.
As crazy as it was to have to clean that mess up, i must admit that it was awesome to look at some of the old Nintendo Power magazines i had forgotten about, and especially the Newtype USA magazines (which are pretty heavy lol) Those are the best anime magazines that ive ever seen, i wish they would get put back in print over here.
In other anime news, Yesterday i finished Season 1 Volume 1 of my Thundercats box set, and started on Season 1 Volume 2 as well. I've really enjoyed watching these episodes lately, Its been pretty nostalgic to say the least. It also makes me want to create some wallpapers as well, we will certainly have to see where that leads :) Here is a pic of the Season 1 Volume 1 box set dvd that i own :)

A few days ago i also took the time to watch an anime movie that ive had for a few years called Zone of the Enders: IDOLO. If im correct (its been a few years since ive played the games lol) This movie takes place before the games and explains alot of things that were talked about in the games. To be honest , i didnt expect much from this movie, but i was really surprised about how enjoyable it was. I'll admit that at times it did seem a bit rushed and it also did seem a bit short for an anime movie, but It reminded me alot of Macross Plus, which is always good. In the end, i was quite pleased, even though the ending is a bit shocking and depressing, it is an anime movie that i would reccomend to videogamers and anime fans alike :)
Here is a pic of the dvd case i own :)

On a short note, (Since this post is incredibly longer than i intended lol)Last night while i was on lunch at work, i got online with my laptop and visited theOtaku chats. i had a good time chatting with some people i dont meet often (Adam, Someguy, SunfallE, Shinmaru, Desbreko, and even my friend Enin who made a surpise appearance) It was awesome to chat with them and tell them my exciting evening with the bookshelves and everything lol, I was certainly wishing that i didnt have to go back to work, thats for sure LOL!
Well I think that will be it for today's post, i certainly hope you all enjoy the post and i thank you all for visiting :) I hope to chat with you all soon :)
stay strong,
