This song (and part in Lion King 2) Really makes me feel sorry for Covu! So sad that people jump to conclusions so quickly. If you think about it this part in the movie really reflects how society really works. It also reminds me of No One Mourns The Wicked song from the musical Wicked. If you listen closely to the lyric its really sad. Her parents rejected her because of her skin color. So she is alone from the start. Then hated buy everyone else for being an outcast. So now there glad she is dead? I mean yes she became evil, but isn't the true evil the society who rejected her for being different? They mad her evil. Maybe its just me, but I truly feel sorry for her. I have to say in the musical I cried for her! She had such a hard life and now she is dead the people who made her so jaded laugh and celebrate her death. They say will she had a mother and father, but then blatantly say that same mother and father rejected her on first sight! Its the exact same thing that happens with bulling today in schools. A kid commits suicide and the bullies that tortured them laugh and are glad, almost proud that they made them so miserable that they could not live anymore.Sickening really. Sorry I went so agro there 0.o Still I just feel sorry for the wicked witch... They know what she went through and yet they still celebrate her death. They should at least realize she was human too and deserves some respect!
