So yeah, third year of that convention in France (and more precisely in my city lucky me) and here we go again.
So, I wasn't much into it this year, to be honest, mostly because most writers and stuff are the same so I already bought a lot of things from them the past two years! BUT some of the new ones were cool! One had a lot of Pacific Rim stuff (yay) so I bought some few cute badges Newt inspired...
Then, I also bought Hana No Mizo Shiru by Takarai Rihito, finally.
Just for buying something there, I got a poster of one of Kou Yoneda's manga but also a Halloween yaoi badge :3 BUT, because I bought 3 mangas, I got a huge poster of another manga by Takarai Rihito and excuse me while I'm crying because it's beautiful??? It's the cover of a one shot I probably suggested already in the past.
Finally, I bought a little fanbook full of different fanarts on several fandoms... On the pic, it's mostly Shingeki no Kyojin (ereri!!!) but there was also some Thorki, Nightvale, Free, Evangelion, Utena... PACIFIC RIM. And even some Rise of the Guardians!
There were also a lot of very cool cosplay but I didn't have my camera on me (but honestly, I was way too lazy anyway haha). I saw several Shingeki no Kyojin ones!
Which allows me to talk about karaoke. Yeah because the first opening was sung. My friend likes to sing a lot so she FORCED me to go sing with her... I admit that I prefer to scream with the others in the public than on stage. Especially when it's Dragon Ball Z or Free! or One Piece or... yeah.
Oh, I also met a blogger I used to talk with some few years ago. We're not friends or anything but it was cool to see her, like in flesh.
Uh, I don't really know what else I should add, that post was supposed to be short but I ended up taking pictures of what I bought/got and... It was just not planned at all. Sorry.
Oh yeah! I saw something upsetting! A badge with written "Keep Calm and be heterophobic" and it's just so rude and stupid and pushing people to hate. Like I bloody know how homophobia can be depressing but it's not cool to flash heterosexuals as evil? Like the LGBT community has a lot of allies that aren't queer at all, shouldn't it be about accepting everyone instead of categorizing more and more? And rejecting others based on their sexuality is just so wrong anyway.
But that touches other more important issues inside the LGBT community and let's not go there now because, trust me, when you start, you never end.
And I think that's it. Or at least, I can't think of anything important I saw there. UNLESS YOU CONSIDER SEEING A SHOW CALLED HENTAI KAMEN IMPORTANT BUT I WOULD CALL THAT TRAUMTAZING MORE THAN ANYTHING.
