One of my aunts sent me a Nokia 5310 XpressMusic phone on Saturday, which was rather nice of her. She got the other aunt to deliver it to me since she's in Oklahoma. The other aunt also dropped off a shirt the sis bought the little one. He hated it because the fabric stuck to him.
The stepdad started call on Friday evening, meaning I had to watch the little one for most of the weekend. 7AM-10PM on average. He gets time and a half so I'm not really bothered about the extra time. He finishes call on Friday morning, I'm looking forward to sleeping in this weekend.
I made a keish yesterday. A really big keish with over three packs of bacon and fourteen eggs. The scope was grand but the execution was flawed. Unfortunately, I decided to follow Rose's advice on the cooking temperature. As a result the crust around the edges was burnt black and the bacon she cooked was too crispy, which transformed the keish from "British comfort food" into "stereotypical British food".
Which sounds more appealing, a $700 computer and $300 to spend willy-nilly or a $300 computer and $700 to blow at A-KON next year?

My computer was having issues earlier this week, but I was able to fix 'em with a bit of patience and a lot of deleting.
I went to the book store on Saturday for the first time in a couple of months. Things have changed, they upped their price by half a buck. Their selection also seems to be dwindling. It took quite a bit of looking before I came to the conclusion that they didn't have my primary choices, so I settled for DeathNote volumes 2-4.
I mowed the lawn on Sunday, nearly getting attacked by fire ants in the process.
Rose (the nanny) straightened my hair today. It looks, uh, interesting to say the least. I might put up a pic later on.

I banged my bad knee against a desk yesterday. Long-story-short, it's going to hurt for another day or two because of a previous injury.
I'm going to go book shopping on Saturday. I should be able to get a book or three. With any luck ill get my hands on a cheap copy of Bleach volume 12 or D.Gray-Man 11+.
I watched Bruno for the first time today. I can say with complete certainty that it was the worst film I've ever seen in my entire life, and I've seen some shitty films. I laughed four times, and they weren't even strong laughs.
Rose (the little brother's nanny) was clearly distraught at the loss of OneManga. She freaked out so much that she called her son seconds after I informed her. He also freaked out, which was pretty funny.

I was going to see Despicable Me today but, due to financial constraints, was unable to. But, on the bright side, I did have the snazziest hair at the local walmart, which was surprisingly understocked. They didn't have any NFM in so I had to settle for some Gillette. Now I'm gonna smell miss-matched because my stick won't compliment the fragrance of the shower gel.
I put a small table in my room yesterday, finally getting my scanner off the floor. I even had enough room to put my external hard drive on it, which really freed up my desk. I can finally have some flowers on it now, which makes the room look a lot brighter.
I might buy some books next weekend. I'm open to all good recommendations.

My wireless card died on me on Monday. Looks like Aveie (My laptop) will need to be replaced. Aveie is over eight years old (57 in laptop years) and his previous owner was rather abusive. He's had a long run, but it looks like it won't survive spring... But until then, I'm gonna work him like a dog. Muhahahaha!
I'm gonna catch up with things online tomorrow. I'm rather sleepy from the daily grind.
