Hello and welcome to my WORLD~ My name is Yoji and it is a pleasure to meet you. This is my Life world, the place where Ill write about the various events and happenings that take place during my everyday life. From the strange to the daring, if it happens to me it's probably going to end up on here.

About Me~

I'm a twenty-one year old guy from jolly old England. I moved to the state of Texas when I was sixteen and lived there for a good five and a half years before moving back to the UK. In my spare time I like to read, fence and generally goof off. My star sign is Capricorn and I was born in the year of the snake. My favorite fruit food is the strawberry and I'm more of a manga fan than an anime fan. Well, I like books in general~

And that's that, for now. If you want to learn more then you're gonna have to read or talk to me~

Enjoy your visit~

Oven People.

It looks like I might not have much more work this week due to an employee dispute between the corporation and the full-time workers over a pay freeze a few years back. Given that I'll only be kept on til Christmas day, this little dispute of theirs is throwing quite the wrench into my driving lessons plan.

Since I had time on my hands I decided to take a crack at my DVD shipment and watched the Green Lantern film and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. I predicted the ending to GL as soon as that fucking fake-sun part came up but the time film was pretty nice. I think I'll watch Limitless and Defiance tomorrow if I still don't have work, maybe even read the second half of Ender's Game. I really should finish the book before my copy of Pilgrimage of The Sacred and Profane arrives.

I'm gonna finish off most of my Christmas shopping this weekend, hopefully. Maybe even get around to using that bamboo I forked out on.

We Wacom Now!

Looks like I'm actually posting again on a Tuesday. Maybe, if I apply myself, I'll be able to keep it up~

My weekend was pretty uneventful. The film I wanted to see isn't at the cinema anymore, so I didn't bother going. I had part two of my navy medical on Saturday morning, where the good doctor managed to check for hernias without cupping my balls. Truly we live in a golden age of diagnostics medicine. After my medical I hopped onto the nearest bus and went into town. I looked around for a decent suit but couldn't find anything in my size, everything was too big for me. After that I went to a grocery store and stocked up on chicken and steak for the month before going back home for dinner with gran.
I went back out again after dinner, this time to look for some boots. I decided to go to this outlet mall thing that's relatively close to us but is usually busy as a bee hive. I managed to get some decent black boots for half off, ten pairs of sports socks for 80% off and a laptop bag with 1/3rd off the price.

Sunday was mostly uneventful, but I had a job interview on Monday. I applied for a permanent position at the factory I'm currently a temp at. The interview was a tad shakey but I pretty much aced the altitude tests after. All-in-all I was at the factory from 10:30 in the morning til 8 at night. While I was at my interview and gran was out shopping,, the postman came around with my Amazon order. He was able to fit a bit of it through the letterbox but I had to collect the bulky parts of my order this morning.

I ordered an Samsung external CD/DVD reader/writer, a copy of the Command and Conquer first decade collection The best fucking game in the world! and a Wacom bamboo, which I'm gradually getting use to. The funny thing is that the drawing pad is about 11"long and my laptop is only 10.5" long. It's like having a blue-tooth joy pad to play a game on a cellphone~

I should be going to see a Di Vinci exhibit this Saturday and I'll likely spend Sunday blowing the ever-loving shit out of Soviet Russia.

A Laptop Like You.

I've been something of a busy bee since my last post. Since then I've passed my construction course, gotten a job and replaced my laptop. But it's all pretty lengthy, so I'll just section the pieces off so you can read whichever catches your fancy~

Construction Completion.

The course started out with more than twenty of us, but it finished with just eight of us passing. I was one of the first to pass, and one of only two to pass the test on the first try. It was simple enough, mostly about health and safety. What fire extinguisher to use and what to do if you smell methane while digging a hole. You now, simple stuff?
Once I passed my test and handed in the correct forms for them to send into the card people, the course was pretty much over for me. The following week, I got a job.

Cake Factory: Redux.

I'm working at that god forsaken cake factory again this year. The agency I was with last year went into some sort of liquidation, so I'm with the other one. I'm getting a bit more pay and more regular hours, so I'm taking home about a third more this year than I was last. And, without any outstanding debts this time around, I get to keep a lot more of my earnings this time around. I've replaced a few things, bought a large suitcase and even did some Christmas shopping. I got my gran a 26" HD TV with a built in DVD player. I should have everyone else covered by the end of this week, too. Which leaves me with quite a bit of expendable income, which I'm gonna put towards driving lessons and maybe another pirate costume.

Laptop Heaven.

I was finally able to put my decade-old laptop into retirement. With some fancy e-bay work, I was able to snap up a Lenovo ideapad on the cheap. With more than double the RAM and nearly five times the memory, I'm now back at my full internet-browsing power.
I might start posting here once a week. As for my old laptop, I'm going to give him an Egyptian funeral.

Olympic Heat.

It’s July, but it sure doesn’t feel like it. We’ve gotten over a month’s worth of rain in a day in most areas, and the sun hasn’t been out nearly as much as it should have. This weather has “British summer” written all over it.

I have a Navy psych test in a few weeks. It’s gonna last a little over an hour and cover a whole range of subjects to see exactly what I’m good at. I took the practice test included with the notification letter and I don’t have much to worry about. I can easily smash past the minimum on 3/4th of it, but the mechanical knowledge part might be a bit of a struggle. And considering I wanna go into engineering, I probably should study up on it a little.

The sis moved out on Saturday, which means I finally have a room to myself for the first time in about a year~ it also means I finally get to sleep in a bed without seducing someone first for the first time in a year~ We managed to move all her crap in one trip, which was pretty nifty considering how small the van she hired was. The only blunt to the whole thing was her girlfriend’s older brother. Bastard was too lazy to show up and help move crap, despite saying he would help earlier on in the week. That meant his younger brother, who has all the signs of having a faulty heart valve had to help out in his place. That meant the van driver and I had to do most of the lifting to save his adorable, twinktastic ass from passing out again.

Once more, the guy has really been a pain in the ass lately. He scared the shit out of my limp-wristed sis two weeks ago by going off at her and Monday before last, at his birthday party, he talked to me as if I was scared of him. You know how we all have that fat friend that’s a pretty cool/fun guy/gal to hang with, but they get a bit full of themselves once they start dating and turn into a bit of a cunt ? That’s pretty much this guy down to a T. And although I want to avoid violence/not jeopardize my potential naval career with criminal chargers, I’m not really the type to let people that much weaker than me talk that much crap. It’s pretty insulting when a 21 year old, 5’10” 260lbs alcoholic plays the hard man to a 6’ 165lbs guy who exercises five-six times a week. Hell, I can squat him like a fly. *Is shot for terrible fitness pun.*

The Olympics are in a few weeks and I’m really looking forward to it~ I think I’ll watch the power lifting, fencing, gymnastics and swimming this time around. I only got to watch the swimming, basketball and running during the Chinese games due to a scheduling error with the tv. I missed most of the opening ceremony, too. But that won’t happen this time around! I’m gonna catch the whole opening ceremony even if it kills me.

Wish me luck~

Summer~

It’s June, summer time~! The weather is finally warm enough on this glacier for me to go out and about without a jacket. Goodbye cloth of many pockets, hello figure revealing clothing~! Or at least that would be the case, if I had more than two nice fitting shirts. Been jobless is severely limiting my summer wardrobe, especially when most of my spare cash is going on creatine and other such things.

My hunt for physical fitness has been taking top priority since February, and so far I’ve gained a bit more than I was expecting on my chest and shoulders. I’ll be frank, my chest sticks out even in baggy shirts now, which is good, but, in a baggy shirt that doesn’t hug my slightly slimmer than average waist, gives a rather unflattering representation. But a little unflattering visual perception isn’t gonna dampen my spirits. I’m still hitting new PBs every two days and my jogging speed is improving almost daily. Also all of this physical activity is really leveling me out. I don’t think I’ve been this un-rustled since the 8th of May last year. Though, I must say, the slow decline of my feminine looks is a bit of a worry. I don’t think I’ll be able to pull off my girly look if this keeps up.

As for my job hunting, I’ve had limited success. I went on a two week training course recently at a marketing firm that specializes in direct sales (Read as “door-to-door”) and that was pretty fun. I spent a good twelve hours out and about every day knocking about, shooting the shit with either the drag queen supervisor who recommended me during my initial interview, a deadpan Indian or the tall and rail thin captain of the Imperial Death Star. And though my shoes made my feet literally bleed at times, it was pretty fun. Though, ultimately I had to pack it in. Not so much because of my shoes (Though they didn’t help.) but because it only paid commission and, because it’s counted as a self employed job, the gran would have kicked me out to avoid a rent increase, which will also come if I make more than minimum wage. So, it looks like I’m stuck either not rocking the boat or getting one of my own.

I’ve been reading a bit more than usual lately, though it’s mostly gay romance novels and instructional books about anatomy and stuff. My video game time has sharply declined though. I don’t think I’ve played anything on the 360 for two months now and I hardly watch TV anymore, except for bonding time with gran over soap operas. I’m also becoming more musically inclined lately. It’s like I’m going through puberty for a second time but, instead of growing taller, I’m turning into more of a fag gayer. (But at least I’m still not a peroxide blonde flamer~)

Speaking of hair, I need to get mine cut. My winter locks hardly fit in with the summer weather. I need something shorter, more stylish. Suggestions~?
