It's extremely peaceful here, so much so that I find myself looking for ways to preoccupy my time. And while this eventless atmosphere is doing wonders for my health, it can be a tad dull at times. Well, more than a tad.
Simply put, I'm bored.
I'm gonna have to put up some flags and see who is available in the area. The Aunt also suggested that I spend a night or two at a friend's place if I can. She even said she will drop me off and pick me up, but only if it's for a day or more given the distance. Ill definitely have to see if I can do that.

I went to Oklahoma this weekend. We set off on Sunday and spent a good two and a half hours driving to my other aunt's place. Once there I drank entirely too much soda and had a LAN party on Warcraft 3 (And kicked ass) and went swimming for the first time in six years. Overall it was pretty fun.
On Monday we went to Oklahoma University to drop off the aunt's daughter. It was another two hour car ride of ass-numbing pain before we got to the college town. Turns out that American college is exactly as I expected it to be. The dorms look like hospital rooms, there are kids everywhere and cute guys abound like rain drops in a monsoon. If only I had brought my razor with me so I could have shaved and turned on the charm...
Once orientation was over with and we had finished taking her boxes up and down eight flights, we set off for Texas, which was a four hour car ride of ass-pain. During the ride home I drank entirely too much soda. I probably ate entirely too much junk food, too. We did have breakfast at the golden arches (McDonalds) and lunch at Taco Bueno (It was terrible) so it goes without saying that I'm a tad bloated from all the sugar. It should completely fade after two days of flushing my system with water and healthier food though, hopefully.
I got my ticket details this morning in full. Turns out that the sis didn't book the ticket in time and it doubled in price, so now I'm flying out on the 25th of September. That gives me about a month more state-side.
Yoji~
I got my flight details a couple of days ago. I should be flying out on the 28th of this month if all goes as planned. I'm just waiting on the confirmation, which I should get in a day or two.
They aunt bought me a razor on Tuesday so I've been able to shave since then. Feels good to be hairless, makes one feel civilized.
Apparently my pet dog in England, Snoopy, died today. He had to be put down due to liver/leg failure. There goes some of my plans for when I arrive.

Things are getting quite a bit better now. For one thing the blisters of my feet are almost completely healed. It's nice to be able to walk without limping and wobbling.
Yesterday the aunt took me to WalMart and bought me some socks and underwear and shoes. It was pretty nice going to the store, it's the first time I've been to WalMart in more than four months (They never let me go shopping with them back at the stepdad's place.)
It's pretty nice here. Nobody is drinking heavily or fight picking. I think the bags under my eyes are starting to fade a little, too.
The sis is buying my a plane ticket on Tuesday since the stepdad sold mine. I should be flying out before the end of the month with any luck.

I ran away from home last night. To sum things up, the stepdad was been drunk and aggressive for the past two weeks and last night was the last straw. He cut off my internet on Wednesday and took my phone from me last night. And, given that staying in a house of drunks who are against you with no contact with the outside world is hardly the safest thing, I decided enough was enough and left with a backpack full of crap before he could take a swing at me.
I walked three-to-five miles to my closest friend's (Cute native American guy) place in flipflops, since I couldn't get to my shoes without him noticing me. And while it was better than going at it in just socks, it was still rather painful. Took me an hour and fifteen minuets to get there. Thankfully he was awake and more than willing to let me use his internet to contact an Aunt to pick me up. I stayed with him for almost an hour, got something to eat and drink and then went to the local Taco Bell for them to pick me up. He walked half-way with me. It was kind of sad, since it is likely the last time we're gonna see each other. We exchanged mementos to remember each other by, kissed and embraced each other a few times and then parted ways.
When I got to Taco Bell I waited about half an hour before spotting them. They too me to their place, I got a shower and spent the night on their couch.
I got about three hours of sleep last night, mostly a mix of too much sugar and tremendous pain in my feet and thighs. Again, flipflops. Has me walking like a zombie with polio today, but at least I'm at a safer place.
As was expected, the stepdad got drunker and angrier when he noticed I had gone. He threatened to call immigration and such and all sorts of nonsensical threats that would backfire on him. His girlfriend was encouraging him, apparently. He called my sis and she said she could hear her mouthing off in the background to "let 'em have it". But she explained to him that if he reported me to immigration that he would get jail time for harboring a minor and quickly took it back.
And I'm just finding out that his girlfriend sold my plane ticket *Le sigh.* charming. The sis will likely help me to get another one but it might be a bit longer than expected.
Ill update with a bit more clarity in a day or two when things settle down. If you got a text from me after eight central last night, please ignore it as it was not from me.
Yoji.
