I’m posting this one a little early.
Monday: I got up, found the empty cereal box, cried, and had some oatmeal for breakfast. The steady flow of energy it provides was rather annoying; it made me aware of just how dull things are around here. I made some avatars, did some light cleaning and read some manga. I did some yoga, but nothing else. AniMonday was good, though Gurren lagann is getting a little epic with the mechs. Seriously, the next one is gonna be bigger than the sun at this rate. And the other show, Descendents of Darkness, made me laugh harder than I have for a while. The voice acting was okay, but the timing was wa~~~~~~y off. They went from happy to emotionally upset to emotionally happy yaoi wise in thirty-seven seconds. When the show finished, I called it a night.
Tuesday: The day of the big election, soon we will get some variety on the news networks. The folks were out with the brother for a checkup, so I had the house to myself for the morning. I had cake for breakfast, made some e-cards and cleaned a little before they came in. The mom cooked a big turkey dinner since we got a big turkey for free with a coupon. It was good, home made gravy and all. I stayed up and watched the results while IMing people. Quite a lot of whom fainted when Obama won, in the good way. So after making sure they weren’t gonna die of hyperventilation and taking a shower I called it a night.
Wednesday: Got up, had oatmeal again and flung myself into e-card and avatar making mode. I had a turkey omelet for lunch and turkey again for dinner. Overall it wasn’t that impressive of a day. I had some good conversations and learned of the cruelty that is the submission limit, which turns out to be linear, not every day according to Eastern Time.
Thursday: Got up, had oatmeal and made e-cards and avatars. I babysat a little and turned the leftover turkey into chowder? All I know is the bones were boiled and I cooked some rice and corn in the broth, adding leftover turkey towards the end of the cooking process. It turned out good, probably highly fattening but good. I did some chores, exercised, showered and called it a night.
Friday: I’m sure you know the cycle by now. I made my twenty-sixth e-card and submitted my tenth? Watched DR. Who in the morning and did chores during the afternoon. I had some of that leftover turkey thing for lunch and it made me feel sick. Let that be a lesson to you, don’t reheat turkey three times. I had some hot wings for dinner and watched Stargate Atlantis before calling it a night around midnight.
Saturday: The usual cycle commenced. I did some chores, exercised and made my 30th e-card, thus bringing an end to my first volley. The day went by rather slowly, almost unbelievably so. I had a nightmare of a hair cut and showered. I was also too lazy to cook anything so I just reheated some of that dreaded turkey-rice-thing and hoped for the best. I stayed up and went to bed around the time Code Geass came on. It was a repeat so I wasn’t too bothered to call it a night early.
Sunday: This time I had bacon for breakfast, a little variety never hurts. I watched some films to pass the time and exercised. Nothing particularly exciting happened today. The folks went to the good store and got some of the good chicken. I’m watching a Batman film as I type this, whose idea was it to put nipples on the bat suit anyway? I think Ill call it a night around 11 or so.
And that’s it, my week in review.
Later.
