I saw Jack and Karina leave in a hurry, but I wasn't done with my investigation. I quietly disappeared into the shadows, and reappeared behind them. "Hey, can I come with you guys?", I said with a creepy grin. Jack and Karina jumped as they turned to see me. The air seemed to get cold. "Oh, um...h-hey there.", Jack said as he looked over at Karina. "Sure, I think it'll be alright.", Karina said as they continued moving and I followed. We had passed hallways and eventually got to a forested area outside of the school. "Hey, can we stop a second? I'm tired, not used to being outside.", I said as I sat near a pond. They sat across from me and I looked up at Karina. It was quite for a bit, until I laughed. "No one's around now, so tell me...Karina, you're a human aren't you?", I said as I grinned and Jack stood up. "H-hold on now, she already told you she is a fire demon! Why do you think she's a human?", Jack said as he looked over at Karina. I grinned and looked up at him, my eyes glowing puple and the white of my eyes went black. "Quiet changling!", I hissed as I stood and I stepped toward Karina. Jack blocked my path. "We're not allowed to show each other our forms remember!", he said as I looked down at him. I turned back to normal and slid my hands in my pockets. "Be glad that I didn't fully turn...and next time, I will know the truth...", I said as I walked past them. They saw me leave and turned to look at the pond, to see that the grass was a greyish tone.
