“Some friend you have.” I smirked a bit. He seemed on edge. It was always fun to toy around with people like this.
"I-I just met him a f-few minuets ago actually." He muttered.
“And, I bet you were this stutterish around him too.” I took a step closer to him.
"W-well um....n-no not r-really." He said looking away.
Oh, a shy one indeed. “Why not?” I tilted my head.
"I-I guess I j-just have a hard time t-talking to girls." He responded. I laughed.
“Yeah, that’s fine, but come on, me? I’m not attractive, I’m just one of the boys.” I grinned. He shook his head.
"Y-you're very a-attractive." He replied. It was my turn to blush.
“D-Don’t lie. It’s not good to lie.” I looked away, caught way off guard by his comment. I was the one supposed to be messing with minds, not the other way around.
"N-no I mean it." He said. "I-I've never meet someone l-like you before." I got hit with another unexpected comment.
“Oh, uhh…” I stuttered like an idiot.
"Would all students please report to the auditorium." We heard over the loud speaker.
"I-I didn't realize w-what time it is." He laughed a little.
“Me either.” I grabbed his hand and pulled. “Come on, this way!”
"O-ok." He stuttered. I took us around the corner and saw a staircase.
“Oops, that’s not right.” I pulled him in a different direction, but came across a dead end hallway. “Oh crap, I made us get lost.” I muttered.
"Um...I-I think it's this way." He said pointing down a hall that was close by.
“Ok.” I took us down that hall, and I was tripped by someone. I gasped and let go of Jack’s hand and fell. I heard laughing and I saw it was a couple of younger kids. They looked like they were freshmen.
"Go to the Auditorium and stop causing trouble." Jack warned.
"Oh I'm so scared what are you going to do about it?" One of them smirked.
Jack grabbed then kid by the collar of his shirt and slammed him against the wall. "I said stop causing trouble." He stated.
"Y-yes sir." The kid said then Jack let him go and the kids ran for it.
"You a-alright Karina?" He asked kneeling down.
“Y-Yeah, I think so.” This guy, was a bumbling fool, and a bad ass?!
"I g-guess we should keep going shouldn't we?" He smiled.
“A-Alright.” I said quietly. I just noticed how brilliantly green his eyes were.
