So, here's my World Page designed especially for me. For those of you who aren't familiar with me, I'm an aspiring Manga-ka (at least in my own mind) and I enjoy many things in life, including, but not limited to: sword-fights, squirrels, lingual jokes, shiny rocks, and strawberries.
Also, I was born in Texas, but raised in Montana. No, I don't ride horses, or boil water over a campfire to heat it, and as a matter of fact, I hate Westerns! I don't have an accent (y'all) and I don't wear a ten-gallon cowboy hat with chaps. I'm a normal, everyday average citizen of America... who wishes he were somewhere else. XD I'm also agnostic, so don't come preaching to me about anything, okies? And, I won't throw you down a well, okies? Yay! Friends!!!
"You have to be realistic about terrorism. Certain groups of people, certain groups, Muslim fundamentalists, Christian fundamentalists, Jewish fundamentalists, and just plain guys from Montana, are going to continue to make life in this country very interesting for a long, long time."
~George Carlin
Or, check out our DeviantArt page [Shiro-Jinja] that Angelo (Fai no Tenshi) and I share!
Well, hope you enjoy your visit and sayonara for now! ^_^
The french book I have to have costs about $200 at the school. So, I went online and found it for $85, including shipping and handling! BUT!
F*ck the school for doing EVERYTHING online! DX
Not only do we have to buy an ACCOUNT to actually DO our homework, we also have to buy a $200 dollar book. And, I can't use the online book because, the online-homework part takes a CODE that can only be used ONCE. And, the online book's code is already obsolete!!! DX
WHAT A WASTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MONEY, PAPER, AND TIME! FML!!
GAWD! Now, I have to ask my parents for a BUTTLOAD of more money. AND, my sister started high school this year and HAS to have the most expensive calculator and ALL this crap... GAWD! Education COSTS an arm, leg, and most of your wallet!!
On top of that, it's a class I'm practically going to sleep through. I can't test out of it either. GAWD. I mean, I had a low sugar JUST before class this morning and practically fell asleep anyway (the teacher only went over some classroom nouns that I remembered from my first year of french in high school ((I took french for FOUR YEARS and somehow still got placed in BEGINNER french))) and I STILL passed my homework. Hell, we have a quiz on Friday and I KNOW I"ll pass that.
Japanese was okay. I bought my books... NOT CHEAP, AGAIN! Grrr... I always thought knowledge was free. It seems like we're all just buying our diplomas and the right to have people look at our transcripts if we want to get a good job... my gawd... @_@; These things should be based on skills, not what you've accomplished in school. I guess they all just need proof. *sigh*
Sorry, guys. It'll be a while before I can get any more art up. I'm swamped and dying slowly... TT^TT
HELP ME OUT?! I'm still doing commissions! I'm also slashing prices to make it more affordable and to get more people wanting more... Check out my page at deviantArt.com! I'm SHIRO-JINJA. :3
Thanks, guys. *hugs*

I didn't even wanna go to college. So far, it's a waste of time and money for me.
This was just to help brighten my day. I forgot to add in the last post, I had to drive home in a HARSH thunderstorm last night. I mean, the rain got so bad on the highway, I had to pull over and wait it out.
I got home and my hands were shaking. It was scary, almost CRASHING! :P But, I'm okay. ENJOY THE VIDEO! It was sent to me all randomly by my b/f saying, "Lemme Num Num Num JOO!" XD
Let's see, I started at 8 with French. The thing about the class is: I could pass it in my sleep if all we had to do was fill out paperwork. EASY! I could understand everything the teacher said and I was able to respond EASILY! Why the HELL did the system put me in the beginner class? I dunno.
Anyway, we're NOT graded on comprehension in the classroom. We're graded on the WORK we do with a book AND by answering the assignments ONLINE! Which is NOT cheap! The book we've got to buy is at least $150, AND we have to buy an online account to use the stupid thing which ALSO is NOT cheap! So, basically, I have to buy my grade! WTF?!
Then, at 9, I had my Japanese lesson. I love the teacher (platonically). She's fun and speaks both English and Japanese fluently (She calls herself Japanese-Canadian. She was born and raised in both Japan and Canada.). So far, I like the class. Only one problem, our first assignment is due TOMORROW and I don't have the book yet! PLUS! It's over $220 for it! @_@; College is EXPENSIVE!
Later, I had math. And, as it turns out, I was in the WRONG math class. THANKFULLY, I figured it all out and I am now in the RIGHT class at a different time. Oh well.
Lastly was Japanese Culture. Gawd, I love this class. I don't know how much the book for it is, yet, but it sounds like a lot of fun. :D
The only downside to everything is that all the classrooms are HOT and there's NO A/C!! TT^TT I nearly died, sweating like a pig in every class! I'm just glad I'm not obese... the kids that are bigger there... they looked even more uncomfortable than the rest of us... then again, it's not my fault, so I shouldn't feel sorry for 'em.
Lol, and it's nice and cloudy now that I'm back home. XD
On top of that, thanks to moving my math class, I'll have THREE WHOLE hours in the MIDDLE of the day to hang out with my b/f on Mondays and Fridays! Our classes were set up so we have a HUGE break in the middle of the days. But, I can't complain... at least I'll get to see him.
Sadly, Tuesdays at least, I'll be in and DONE with all my classes before he's even left his house for his. XD Guess we'll have to work in seeing each other on the weekends... we got pretty intimate last weekend and now we're rather attached to each other. He says it's hard for him to go so long without seeing me and it's vice-versa for me. I miss him!!! ;__; I hope I can see him for at least a little while tomorrow... otherwise, I won't see him again 'til Wednesday at, like, 10. And, that'll be for only an hour...
Lol, Angelo keeps teasing me about having an actual BOYfriend... so, I just tease him about how he chose NOT to go to college. XD I miss him, too, though... TT_TT;
Well, that's all for today so far... Now, I just need to get all my books. *sigh* That's gonna be a lot. But, my parents say it's important... and it's only the FIRST semester... we have to get all new books after December... But, by then my Loans will have come in...
BLAH! Sorry for rambling!
Thanks for reading, guys! ~Yosei~
Well, I'm officially going to college starting on Monday. ^____^ *fake, cheesy grin* Nah, I kid you guys, it's not so bad. My schedule looks like this:
Monday:
8:10-9:00 French
9:10-10:00 Japanese
10:00-11:00 -BREAK-
11:10-12:00 Math
12:00-1:00 -BREAK-
1:10-2:00 Japanese Culture
Tuesday:
8:10-9:00 French
9:10-10:00 Japanese
Wednesday and Friday are the same as Monday.
Thursday is the same as Tuesday.
YAY! Short days! I'm going to get a part-time job in the afternoon, I think. WISH ME LUCK! I'm going job huntin' today!!!
Anyhoo, yeah. I think it'll be easier than everyone seems to say it is. Some say college is hard, others say it's easy. I guess I'll float in the middle, since that's the way it was in high school for me. And, to make things BETTER, ALL my classes are in the same building! XD It's great because there's, like, 30 buildings on campus. :3 I'm lucky. I don't gotta walk outside in the cold to class, unless I go to get lunch... sadly, my building doesn't have a food-place. I'll have to bring my own sugar in case my blood sugars get low. Oh well, that's easy enough. And, the walks to the food courts aren't too long. I'll live. *likes the cold*
I spent my day yesterday with my b/f again... now, I'm thinking I should put some time in with my friends and family... But, I've had 20 years with my family! I want to be independent now... Meh. I think I'll go visit Angelo today... though, he HAS been busy lately with Tiffany and all that.
Well, I'm off guys. I've been practicing drawing girls in my spare time, there might be some pics up soon... we'll see. I'm not that confident in my abilities... <_<;
I'm taking Japanese 101, French 101, Japanese Cultural Studies, and Math 101. I can't take English until next semester and that sort of thing.. blah, blah, blah.
Oh, and parking permits are EXPENSIVE! I'll just park out in the free-parking-boonies... 'til winter. XD besides, I need the exercise. :3
And, with that, I am off to bed.
Short post, sorry. But, I'm just full of stuff to do! I hope to get back to at least VISITING TheO! I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH! TToTT *hugs* I love you guys!
