Hey, fellow Anime/Manga lovers! It's TheDarkAngel here! AKA Yosei! WooT!

So, here's my World Page designed especially for me. For those of you who aren't familiar with me, I'm an aspiring Manga-ka (at least in my own mind) and I enjoy many things in life, including, but not limited to: sword-fights, squirrels, lingual jokes, shiny rocks, and strawberries.

Also, I was born in Texas, but raised in Montana. No, I don't ride horses, or boil water over a campfire to heat it, and as a matter of fact, I hate Westerns! I don't have an accent (y'all) and I don't wear a ten-gallon cowboy hat with chaps. I'm a normal, everyday average citizen of America... who wishes he were somewhere else. XD I'm also agnostic, so don't come preaching to me about anything, okies? And, I won't throw you down a well, okies? Yay! Friends!!!

I shan't conform and put a title here, SO THERE! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Hey, Otaku!

It's been a couple days, so I guess I should update here, ne? :P

Work's been... work. I've decided to stay on until Tom returns from France, or until I get a new job. I need the income, so... yeah. Plus, I've been told that I'm actually a good, hard worker compared to the other employees. *Proud*

I have today off, and tomorrow and Wednesday as well! ^_^ I'm hoping to go to Michael's today for more art supplies. Angelo stayed over last night, so we'll probably go visit Tom and Tiffany at the school today. They graduate high school this weekend! ^o^

We both worked yesterday. He was up front being trained on the cash register and taking orders all day. Meanwhile, I was SUPPOSED to be in "The Hole" and take drive-thru money (the first window) but I really did that plus, like, two other people's jobs.
TWO people didn't show up yesterday. I mean, really they just didn't show up. No phone calls or nothing. SO, we were EXTREMELY short-handed for breakfast- which was UBER busy even for a Sunday! We made $1000 just at breakfast- which is A LOT, I guess. Made me feel kinda good.
I also spent most of the seven hours doing dishes. Blargh. Then, later before I was supposed to get off, it was as if no one was working! Drove me nuts! Everyone else was standing around in a little group, just talking. So I went up front to see how Angelo was doing and he was taking orders on register 2 with a LONG line! >.<

Okay, first of all, it was his FIRST day taking orders- I had a tough time with it and he did too! IT takes a while to learn the computer. Also, there were about 4 or 5 other employees that SHOULD have been taking orders at the OTHER register, which NO ONE was doing! Poor guy, doing all that all by himself.
Plus, the lobby and kitchen were both a complete disaster. No one had cleaned the lobby in two hours (It's supposed to be done every 15 minutes, so... eww.) and a mess in the kitchen is a hazard.
So, once everyone was back to work and making food, I had to leave the back window to clean the lobby, then after that when it died down, everyone just kind of milled back into their little group to talk and chatter! o____o+

I even said straight to the manager (Who was one of the people just hanging around instead of working), "Hey, y'know if anyone's bored, they can sweep up back here around the kitchen area..."
SO, what does she do? She turns to ANGELO, who's taking orders from customers and says, "Hey, when you get a chance, d'you wanna sweep up this mess back here?"
Gawd, I almost had the biggest fit of my life! Angelo looked at me, I looked at him and we kind of had a mutual understanding. He whispered, "Calm down. The main manager is still in the lobby and I think she's taking notes. Just do you job and you'll be rewarded..."

So, I cleaned the back.
Lazy bastards.

Also, around noon, my sugars had dropped to 51! So, I took my break and went to order. And, I was so sure I'd asked for two double cheeseburgers, no onions, medium fries. That's my usual and I ALWAYS get it. But, they gave me two regular cheeseburgers and a small fry... which I found weird. But, it didn't matter. Food is food and I ate it without complaint.
Later, as Angelo was there listening to me order, I found out that because of my low sugars, I'd thought I'd said one thing, when in reality I'd said another. He found it weird because he KNOWS I always order the same thing, but... I didn't. So, he knew something was wrong. Then, he said that while I ate, I just stared... straight ahead... which worried him. v_v;
But, I was alright. My sugars came back up and things were fine.

*Sigh*

Later, I came home to find that my parents were mowing the lawn and my bedroom window was wide open. Not good. I go into my room and almost everything is COATED in pollen. Both mine and Angelo's allergies are awful today. Luckily, we had some Claritin. We'll be fine. *Hates having a runny nose and itchy eyes*
*hates parents for not closing his window to mow* >.<

Well, that was my yesterday.

Oh, yeah! I wanted to thank you ALL for the awesome comments on my latest art piece! ^_^ So, thanks so much!

Is it the end of the world, yet? o_O

Mood: Tired
Listening to: The Lostprophets
Reading: The Name of The Wind
Eating: Ugh... food...
Drinking: Soda

It doesn't end... it just DOESN'T END! *dies*

Today was just awful.

I worked 11am to 7pm. That's not so bad, but it really tires me out if I work later than 5pm for some reason.

Anyhoo... reasons for working today being the pits:

  • First off, I got to work in "The Hole" again today. And, somehow I messed up the order of customers paying and backed up the whole restaurant for about 10 minutes. o_O There's a guy out there somewhere that paid $10.20 for a $5.10 meal... I'M SORRY! I'M SO SORRY, SIR!
  • Then, my sugars wouldn't stabelize. First, they were high, then low, then high and low again... *sigh*
  • Later, I had to pee like a pregnant race horse. So, I rushed to the bathroom only to find that someone had locked all the stalls from the inside then crawled out underneath so no one could get in. And, guess who had to crawl all over the bathroom floor to unlock them all? =_= Yeah, yours truly... And, there's not much room to fit under there... *realizes how skinny he really is now*

On the plus side, they had me working the front window of the drive-thru as well. It's THE MOST STRESSFUL part of the store by far, so far! I kept forgetting to give people their change. ^_^; But, I'd made enough mistakes that day, I think they all assumed it was just an off day for Yosei.

At least I get off at 4pm tomorrow. Thank god... I can retire early, then rest for a few days. *sigh*

Well, thanks for reading about my rant. I'm going to go sleep now.

Epic Concert is not Epic... A Disappointing post

So, I went to Tom's final concert last night. Yeah! [sarcasm] It was SPECTACULAR! [/sarcasm]

No, my day sucked again yesterday... =_=

First of all, my family (mother, father, sister, and grandparents) had said they'd like to come to the concert too. Which, I was ecstatic about! :D But, then, my dad got a head-cold and said he shouldn't go, which was alright. THEN, my sister didn't want to go- she said it'd be a waste of her time. *rolls eyes* Then, my mother bailed because, my grandparents said they didn't want to stay late and they all left to eat somewhere else. So, I drove alone to the school and got there at, like, 5:00. The dinner wasn't supposed to start until 6:00 and the concert was supposed to start at 7:30.
I sat around for half an hour, all alone and bored out of my mind. I actually began to revert back to my old ways of sitting in the cafetorium (We call it that because the cafeteria doubled as the auditorium AND study hall) and looking for shapes in the ceiling.

Around 5:45, Tom and Niko showed up with his mother and ARMFULS of Asian food that they'd made for the potluck. (If you haven't had Tom's mother's cooking, then you've never lived, lemme tell ya. I'd marry the food if I could... XD) Then, a short while later, Tiffany and Angelo showed up.

Now, The Music Teacher/Director/Conductor was the person who was going to give a speech and hand out awards and such.

I was told beforehand that Mr. R liked to take a long time on this and that I should be ready for a long night. But, I expected it to last only a short while.

Bang head here ----------> X <---------- Bang head here

IT TOOK FOR-FREAKIN'-EVER!!

The speech and such started at about 7 and went 'til about 9! 9 PM!!! Then, the music -the last concert that most of these seniors would ever play in- only lasted about 45 minutes.

=_= yeah.

And, what's worse is, the seniors didn't even get to sit with their friends and family at dinner. They were seated at the front of the room while the rest of us sat in the back. Tom didn't like that. He would've rather sat with us, of course! DX So, we had about four hours altogether with him and I think I was withing ten feet of him for... maybe 20 minutes total throughout the whole evening? AAAGH!

Oh, well. The music was good and there was a powerpoint of all the seniors' baby pic and senior pics. It was neat. Tom's mom seemed close to tears. The rest of us were all happy and excited for him- Tiff too, now that I mention it. She graduates as well, she's Tom's sister and Angelo's gf/mate/bride-to-be.
XD
But, yeah. Then, when it was done, we all just kind of stood up and milled about before leaving.
In all, it was alright. There were some things I wish could've gone better or differently, but oh well.
Also, I think Angelo and I both work on their graduation day. I forgot to ask for it off two weeks in advance and now I only have about a week and a half to ask... I hope they can find someone to take my hours. If not, I think I might quit McDonald's. I hate it there. There are too many people that piss me off and annoy me to hell and back. Angelo doesn't seem happy at all there either, so... yeah, I think I'll quit and spend my time looking for another job. I mean, I wanted to keep it 'til mid-July, but... it's really not worth it. It just isn't. I don't have time for friends and family anymore and I'm sick of it.

I know, I know. You're gonna say, "No time for friends and family? Well, duh! That's why they call it WORK!" But... I don't care! Okay? Friends and family FIRST! GYAWD!

Alright, alright. Enough of my rambling. I'm hungry and I'm thinking about going to eat. Hope your guys' day is going well. Thanks for reading! :D

~Yosei~

XD

So, today was Angelo's first day- which went rather well. They kept him busy with the dishes and such. We didn't see much of each other as we had positions on opposite ends of the store, but that was okay.

Note: There is more drama at the workplace than in highschool.

'Tis true, just letting you know. :P

The highlight of my day: Someone accidentally threw away their cellphone and I volunteered to fish it out for them. Took FOR-FREAKIN'-EVER! XD I was up to my elbows in old food and sticky soda when Angelo walked out to line trays. He saw me and burst out laughing! XD And, his laughing made everyone else laugh, which made me AND the customer start busting our guts. So, by the time we found the cell, everyone was red in the face and Angelo was having a hard time breathing and moving... XD THAT was fun!

Then, someone tried to come through the drive-thru with a trailer... bad idea as there IS a sign there that says "no trailers!" Took 'em half an hour to get out... :/ Oh well. Some people...

OH! I got a write up!!! :O
Usually, it's not good to get a write up, but it was good for me!!! :3
Apparently, yesterday, I had a perfect register! The money was exact and I didn't make any mistakes! WHEE~! I dunno what that gets for me, but it was a nice thing to have.

Later, I got to go home a whole 45 minutes early. Business was dead and we'd met our quota. And, since I was the next person due to leave, they let me go for the night! :D Yay!

So, that's about it. I work from 9am to 5pm tomorrow... I hope to have some art up soon! :3

Thanks for reading.

To Woot, or not To Woot?

YAY! I finally got wireless internet yesterday! That means I'll catch up on FMA: Brotherhood as soon as I can (probably Tuesday).

I worked for four hours yesterday, blegh. BUT! It was okay! I got home and Angelo and Tom were in my driveway waiting for me!!! X3 We hung out all night! XD But, since Tom lives so far away, he had to go home... TT^TT But, Angelo stayed the night. Which is good. I missed him.

We both work today. It's Angelo's first day at McDonald's! XD YAY!!!!!! I'm sure it'll be much better there with a real friend around. (._.)
I work at 11... 'til 7. Eugh. And, I gotta turn right around and be back in at 9 tomorrow, but at least I get off at 5. I prefer the earlier shifts, as I've said. ^_^

Well, I suppose this means I should get going. I really just want to stay home and work on some new art, but... that'll have to wait.

Thanks to the faster internet I've got, I can now upload more art and things as well! So, look for some! :D I'll work on it whenever I can.

'Til next time, see you guys around. Thanks again for reading.
