A quick update on YOSEI'S LIFE! :3
This last weekend...
Saturday:
Well, last Friday, a friend of mine was having some issues at school with his roommate and I thought I'd have him over on Saturday night so he could get out of the dorms and have a change of pace.
So, we went running around town! We ended up at Wal-Mart and in the Halloween Candy section, were we found some gourmet candy corn! XD So, he said, "Omygawd, that's so orgasmic!" So, we stood there, drooling and fawning over the candy corn when suddenly, we spotted a random box of condoms sitting next to 'em.
We burst out laughing! XD It was SO FREAKIN' HILARIOUS! Here we are talking about orgasms and candy corn and condoms appear NEXT TO 'EM! XD XD X3
Later, we stopped by the movie store (Because, I get free rentals there! :3) and rented three movies. The Strangers, A Haunting in Connecticut, and YesMan. Lol, I've seen YesMan, but he hadn't, and I decided it'd be a good palate cleanser before bed after the scary movies.
Eh, The Strangers was alright... didn't have much of a story line and it was just a "Jump out at you and splash blood all over the screen" kind of thriller. I liked A Haunting in Connecticut, but even though it's supposedly based on real events, I think some of it is hollywood-ified. I mean, wouldn't there be something in the news about bodies kept hidden in the walls of an old house? Besides, I could SWEAR up and down that Discovery Channel's "A Haunting" did a piece on this same story.
Otherwise, it was alright. Meh.
And, I still love YesMan.
The only downside to this was the smell... having lived in a dorm for about 5 weeks, I don't know how often he's showered... and it was BAD! But, being the good friend I am, I didn't put him down about it or anything. I just slept with the window WIDE open on the coldest night so far.
Also, as he left Sunday morning, I left my windows open all day while I was gone. Then, I got back home last night it was STILL HERE! And, even now, MONDAY NIGHT, it's STILL stuck in here! TT^TT I'm freezing!!! But, the only way to get the smell out is to spray febreze and leave the window open. Although, now, I've lit a few candles and the sulphur from the matches seem to be working wonders...
It was just bad BO, but my mom has a sensitive nose, so I've had to keep my bedroom door shut and the window open... meanwhile, the rest of the house is getting heat while I'm literally shivering as I sit here. TToTT
Do any of you know of any remedies for bad smells that linger?
AAAND Sunday:
I went with my b/f and his mom up to Philipsburg! YAY! We went to The Sweet Palace (An AWESOME store FILLED with CANDY~!!! They make most of it right there). Philipsburg is a TINY town that's rather out of the way. I mean, you don't even know it's there unless you see the signs that point to it. XD
Also, half way between Philipsburg and Drummond, it started to SNOW! XD Even worse, my b/f's mom's TINY little car didn't have any good traction on the tires. :P But, we were okay and we got there and back home just fine. It was a nice little drive. I BOUGHT CARAMELS! And, not just any caramels. GODLY CARAMELS!!! I also got rock candy, gummi bears, and chocolate-covered cinnamon bears (Drool, drool, drool). XD
Meanwhile, the b/f bought $120 worth of candy... he says it should last him the whole year. XP Not with ME coming around now! ;3
Today:
Ugh, the smell is still here... *lights more candles*
Had school today. French was alright, same-ol', same-ol'. Japanese, meh. I got a B on my exam. ^_^ I'm happy with it since I kept getting my particles mixed up (mainly just "de" and "e").
During a three hour break my b/f and I have, we went back to his house and I HAD SCALLOPED POTATOES~! NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!! It was sooooo good~! TTwTT
After that, we raked up all the rotting apples and pears in his backyard. He has, like, 3 apple trees and 3 pear trees and yeah... it was cold, but fun. :D
Then, we cuddled in bed for a while 'til we had to go to school. XD I was almost late to my Japanese Cultures class because of him! ;) LOL!
I also got a 94% on my math. YAY ME~! I was so worried last week when I took it because I was sure I'd fail... BUT! I didn't~! YAY!!
Now, I'm home and freezing my ass off. Yay, slippers and warm bathrobes. :3 And hot cocoa. YUM~!
Well, I'd better go. House starts in about 20 minutes, even though I haven't seen last week's episode yet. I'll probably watch that one while this new one is recording. ALRIGHT! Off I go! Thanks for reading this LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG post! :P
*glomps and huggles*
