Hey, guys~ Long time, no see, ne? I haven't made a post since back in February right before my favorite uncle died... depressing...
Well, the funeral was nice. I was one of two immediate family members to stand up and say something in front of the whole congregation. 'Course, I broke down crying half-way through, but everyone kept saying they were proud of me.
Saw my dad cry for the first time in my life. Like, ever. Humbling, that was.
Anyway, school got done last week. Did three Finals: Japanese Language, Japanese Linguistics, and General Linguistics. I also had an intaglio art class that I aced.
Still job-searching. But, not giving up.
I haven't slept in three days. My boyfriend left for Ireland back on Friday night/Saturday morning. He hates cellphones so much, he didn't take the family one his mom begged him to take. He took an iPad, though, but as luck would have it, there was NO wi-fi where he is. So, no one heard a thing from or about him until about noon today. He was able to call his mother and let her know he had made it and was safe and was feeling miserable from the flight. He didn't call me, though, so I assume he borrowed a phone. His mom yelled at him to go into town ASAP and get a new trac-phone, if he could, and call me right away.
Lol, she was ready start calling our university and embassies and make an international stink. ^^;
I can sleep now, knowing he made it to Ireland. It's not easy to go more than 48 hours without sleep, especially when I was up at the grandparent's house all weekend, trying to hang with family. I'm home now. Ready to collapse. But, I'll wait until at least 8:30 or 9 before I actually go to bed. I hate trying to sleep when it's still daylight out. ;:/
I'm sorry for being so absent from here, guys. I don't come on much except to check on my friend's messages and some journal entries. I'm far more active on my DeviantArt, if you wanna know.
Anyway.
That's about it. Nothing to fun or exciting to discuss. Sorry for being a bore. ^^;
