Random poem I just thought of a couple of hours ago... thought I should type it out to see what it looks and feels like. Comments are appreciated! But, no criticism. It's a Once-in-a-blue-moon kind of thing for me to ever write poetry. I'm never serious about it.
The 7 Days of Love
Monday
I saw you for the first time. I told you my name, you told me yours.
Tuesday
You giggled at my jokes and I felt my heart soar.
Wednesday
I asked you to the dance, and you said, "YES!"
Thursday
I said, "I love you" and you replied with a kiss.
Friday
We were married in white, we both said, "I do!"
Saturday
We watched our kids grow from tyke to parent too.
Sunday
I was lucky to have spent my life with you.
And, the sun set on my last day,
my hand in yours and yours in mine.
family gathered around where I lay,
and only one line crossed my mind.
"I've loved you dearly, and always will.
You're my everything and the light of my life.
All these years, I've counted my lucky stars.
I was indeed blessed to have you for a wife."

I suck, I know, but these words did come from somewhere deep in my heart... I suck at writing, yeah? :P Maybe I'll do a short comic for it, eh? Iunno...
WELL! This has been a random sight into my mind. XD Cherish it, it's probably the only one you'll get to see.
