Hey, it's Angelo here (Fai no Tenshi). Yosei's given me permission to post here for the time being. :)
He's not feeling too good, so I'm going to take care of him. Gave me a scare. I shall explain for the curious.
See, his parents are at work and his sister is at school before he even gets up in the morning, so he's home alone for most of the day.
Anyway, this morning, I get a phonecall from him to waste not a single moment and get up to his house as he has an emergency. So, I'm still in my bed-clothes and I clamor into my car and drive the three streets up to his house (A car is faster than walking- which I would normally do, but this was an emergency). I get in and find that... well, I can't find him! So, I start calling for him and find him in the bathroom, huddled up on the ground, wet and shivering.
First thoughts: What the hell happened to him?
Second thoughts: What do I do?!
He's alright now.
When I found him, he wasn't too responsive. He was awake, but unable to speak coherently and just didn't look right. He was sluggish and not moving very well, extremely pale, shaking like a leaf.
As it turns out, he hadn't eaten since yesterday afternoon, and it's highly unhealthy for a diabetic to skip a meal. Yosei's told me that he was hungry before he went to bed last night, but he didn't eat because he fell asleep before he could get up and eat anything. Then, this morning, he decided he'd shower before he ate breakfast and just the shower alone got his body working hard enough that, not only was he deprived of nutrition, but his sugars were dangerously low. When he got out, he was almost all dressed up when he felt the desire to sit- although I dunno why he chose to sit on the floor instead of the toilet. Apparently, his muscles wanted to give out, so he wanted to just rest his head and back against the wall. He says he was incredibly dizzy and things seemed to be going dark.
Luckily, as he's a paranoid psycho, he had his cellphone in the pocket of the pants he was going to wear today and called me up. If they hadn't been there, he isn't sure if he would've had the energy to get to his bedroom to retrieve it and he might not have been so lucky.
So, yeah, now that the initial shock and terror is over, we're okay. I'm going to sit with him for the day, he's resting on the couch here now. So, just letting you all know things are okay. We've called his parents to let them know and he says if he sleeps it off now, he should be okay for work tonight. Though, I've told him to take it easy, he's okay now. He looks better, his sugars are normal- he just needed food.
SO! Let this be a lesson for you all!
DON'T skip meals! It could be your last! >:c
Alright. Thanks for your concern. He should be back on tonight or tomorrow soon. ^_^ If not sooner, as I'm writing this, he's up and moving around. So, thanks again!
