Comments: Definitely someone to be scared of. You got the badass written all over her. BUT! I needed more from you. You got the character. You have the information. But where is the story? How and where did she find herself in the storylines of either Final Fantasy VII or Final Fantasy VIII? She was inspired by Tifa and Zell and I see what traits you took from them. That brings you up greatly. But the lack of story brought you down significantly.

Comments; I think you definitely captured the theif look. Typical character from the Final Fantasy universe. Your coloring medium(s) made your artwork more appealing to the eye. Though I must say, your attention to detail on the belt made the picture look 1-demensional. I wish there was as much detail in the face as much as you put in the belt. As for the story, you didn't miss anything. It was splendid. Though for someone who just read the story and then looked at the artwork, they would not get the impression of a descietful theif posing as an innocent pedestrain.

Comments; Nice profile you put out for her. I know your writing skills and I was nothing short of satisfied when reading your story portion. Though the section where she thinks that axe suits her, "that's why she wields it", I will penalize you for. -shakes fist- I know you know better than that. -laughs and nudges your shoulder- Your Halfling novel is so much more in-depth that your description looks almost childlike. -winces- But it completes all the requirements. My advice on your artwork is to work with a reference for the body pose. Pay attention to your shapes and their 3-dimensionality. That is very important because it keeps your drawing from looking flat. Her clothes are great. I can definitely see where she was inspired from. I'm glad you got your submission in. It was very rewarding for me to judge. :]

Comments: I believe that you did a great job with your entry, but I am not convinced that you gave it your all. Despite not knowing much about the Final Fantasy genre, a mere idea of what roleplaying games are like in general would have sufficed. The story you supplied was lacking in areas that were crucial to the scoring system. But it's not like I want this to sound like I'm being rude or discouraging. I would like you to work harder and improve your artwork and folklore skills. My advice to you is to read complex books with intriguing characters and oddball plots. Artistically, I would like to see you studying your shapes, anatomy, gesture, and clothing. These aspects, I think, will help you to improve. I really do look forward to seeing you again in another contest. <3

Comments: I can see much of Nikki in her and I like that. She's definitely inspired by that game, which is something related to Final Fantasy games. ^^d Unfortunately, the story portion of your entry significantly lowered your score because there wasn't any integration of your character into the story of the game nor was there enough description about her to get a reader the image of her without even have looked at the drawing first. The addition of the lute reminded me of a character from a game with Frontier in the title. It's an old game but very lovely. I liked that factor a lot. Brushing up on your anatomy and using references, in my opinion, will improve your work drastically. You did a great job~! -hugs-
