In the Dark Room...with no curtains. LOL

It was dark...slowly I opened my eyes... "Oh...so I'm here again..." I mumbled into the nothingness. Turning my eyes to the right...it was there...my palette and paintbrushes...lifting my eyes...it slowly faded into view. The masterpiece I had started...so long ago. A large wall, it wasn't even close to being halfway done...and I didn't know what it was...but every time I woke up here, I felt the intense need to continue it. EVERY SINGLE TIME! Almost mechanically, I picked up the brush and started. I couldn't stop myself....

"Don't scream...the shrillness will hurt my ears..." I smiled as I came in to grab her. Then someone was behind...I turned my head...only to be met with a swift fist. My head jerked to the side...and I smiled. Lowly I started to laugh...and slowly it grew. Until my laughter echoed through the hall. "Oh go on...hit me all you like...I could really care less considering it won't cause ME any pain." I spoke lowly to the pest before me. Apparently knocking him down only served to irritate him...but now he was beginning to get on my nerves. My 'volunteer' had escaped thanks to him...I pondered just how much effort it would take to bring him down...he seemed unnaturally strong. I sensed something. Looking over at another set of eyes that had appeared, I sensed a presence VERY CLOSE to him. I smiled evilly in his direction. "You are...very interesting..."

"Just who are you...you're not Eris..." He stated with confidence.

"What do you know? Of course I'm Eris." I smirked. "Just stay out of my WAY!" I shouted and started to walk off.

"What...happened just now...." I spoke in my same quiet tone. I had dropped my paintbrush for a moment...my jaw seared with pain. Lifting my hand, I felt blood from my lip...drizzling down my chin. I looked at it on my finger. "Ah...what a beautiful shade of red........" Picking up the paintbrush...I continued my ceaseless work.

They were following me...it was irritating to no end. But fine...if they were so insistent on following...then FINE! I sped up...not giving them a chance to get into my vicinity. My eyes scanned the area ahead. I was looking for the first person to cross my path. "Hurry up...I don't have much time..."
