Hello everyone,
Sorry I didn't have a weekly update last week. I was having problems with my computer.....but anyway, here's the updates from last week.
...
Anyway, this week I have an article to report on. This article comes from Japan probe and caught my attention as I was looking through the post.
So, the article states that this week, a zokin race was held in the hallway of an elementary school. For those who don't know, "zokin" is the Japanese word for cleaning cloth, and is used to clean floors or hallways. Anyway, the race is a graduation tradition for 6th graders and was enjoyed by all 54 graduating students.
It would be awesome if they held races like this in schools in the US. Not only would it be interesting, but it would support a clean environment and help out the janitors. By the way, the action of cleaning a hallway or floor by putting one's weight on a zokin through their hands and sliding it across the floor is a common practice in Japan and is often featured in Anime. It's probably also a decent way to get exercise, so it would probably be a good idea for those who don't have the time to exercise and need to do cleaning.
Anyway, I have recently put up the world for my Oc and will post along with this world weekly. I will be on vacation soon, and will probably finish the second chapter of my fan manga during that time, so look for updates. That is about it. See you guys later. ^_^
Hey everyone,
Well I finally got around to checking out the new theOtaku.com, and it's AWESOME! It will take me a couple of days to get a hold of how the worlds work but i should be posting on a regular basis. I will also be posting updates about my fan manga here as well, so keep checking for those. Also, I may start to post a weekly news story here as well. That's about it for now. See you guys later. ^_^
