Spacecraft

So, I can't remember how long ago this was but I read an article a while back (I think, days are merging together all too much) it mentioned about a new type of spacecraft and also engine design which was called a warp drive, I think. Or it was going to be called that or so.

This was a way to try and make it possible to travel faster than the speed of light in space WITHOUT breaking the laws of physics. Sounds crazy, right? I believe this is possible. The idea was that with the design, it would create a warp bubble that the entirety of the ship was within, this would technically remove the spacecraft from the space time continuum. Thus making it possible to travel faster than the speed of light without breaking the laws of physics. At least I think this is what I remember from it, I might take a look back and correct the information.

If you want to keep up to date on scientific ideas and things, the site you can use is: http://www.iflscience.com/

It has lots of information from these topics: Physics, Space, Chemistry, Environment, Technology, The Brain, Health and Medicine as well as Plants and Animals.

You won't believe some of the thing you read.

Not all of the ideas on there have been 100% confirmed, but they are good reads. Enjoy. :)
