Chapter 11: dream, a plan emerges!
*Flash back*
* A few weeks pass*
Yuyu: *Walk through the front door with a bag of food* Wow, it’s 6:45 already. *Walks to the kitchen* Hey Hiei, I'm back!
Hiei: *Hears Yuyu greet him, turns off the T.V. then walks downstairs*
Yuyu: *Starts to put food away* You want some dinner?
Hiei: *Puts a Family sized bag of chips away* Sure.
Yuyu: What do you feel like eating? *Opens the fridge*
Hiei: Anything is ok.
Yuyu: Ok, ham sandwiches it is. *Takes out the ham, mayo, lettuces, tomato and a jar of sliced up pickles out of the fridge*
Hiei: *Sits down at the bar/kitchen counter* How long will it be till it’s ready?
Yuyu: *Takes out the bread and grabs few slices out of the bag* Not long. How many would you like?
Hiei: Just one.
Yuyu: You sure? *spreads the Mayo on the bread slices then puts some slices of pickles*
Hiei: Yeah.
Yuyu: Ok. *Puts clean lettuces on the bread*
Hiei: *looks around the big empty two story house* Hey.
Yuyu: *Takes out a cutting board and knife* Yeah?
Hiei: Do you live here by yourself?
Yuyu: *eyes widen a little* What do you mean? *turns her
back to Hiei and starts cleaning the tomato in the sink*
Hiei: *looks at Yuyu* I’ve been here for a few weeks and I haven’t seen anyone else around here.
Yuyu: *dries off the tomato and puts it down on the cutting board then starts cutting it* Oh, Yeah I live alone
Hiei: Why?
Yuyu: *puts tomato slices on the bread* I don’t even know why, but one night I was alone. *Puts the ham on the bread then puts the bread together.* do you want your sandwich cut in half?
Hiei: Sure. *Gets out of the chair and takes out the bag of chips he had put away earlier* This will be the last night I stay here.
Yuyu: *Cut the sandwiches in half then puts them on plates* What? Why? You do have to go.
Hiei: *Walks to Yuyu and hands her the bag of chips* I‘ve been here too long.
Yuyu: *Opens the bag of chips and puts some on each plate* I really don‘t mind you staying here Hiei. In fact I enjoy your company *Gives Hiei a plate then walks to the bar/kitchen counter*
Hiei: *Follows* I never intended on staying.
Yuyu: *Sits at the bar/kitchen counter* Yeah, well, I was hoping you’d at least think about living here.
Hiei *Sits next to her* I can’t . *Looks at a picture and thinks, ”Is that her family?”*
Yuyu: Have you really given it thought?.
Hiei: Yeah
Yuyu: *looks at Hiei* Are you sure?
Hiei: *looks at Yuyu* Yes.
Yuyu: *looks down at her sandwich with a saddened looked on her face* Ok. *Takes a bite out of her sandwich*
Hiei: *looks at Yuyu and couldn’t help but feel a little guilty*. *Then looks at his sandwich and starts eating it*
~later that night~
Hiei: *Laying in bed looking around the room and thinks,” Why does she live alone? She looks too young to be living on her own. And when I said I was leaving, her eyes seemed almost…in pain. Does she wants me to live here because she‘s lonely?”* *Turns to his right side and continued to think,” I’ll see how she is in the morning then leave. *closes his eyes then falls to sleep*
~a few hours past~
Hiei: *is fast asleep when he is woken up by a loud crash outside the door* What the-? *Quickly gets out of bed and runs to the door then opens it* *Runs to Yuyu’s room and opens her door and looks around*
Yuyu? Yuyu, are you in here?
Yuyu: *Opens the closet door and runs to him* Hiei, What was that?
Hiei: I don’t know. I thought you fell or something.
Yuyu: No, I was asleep. *looks over Hiei’s shoulder and her eyes widen*
Hiei: What? What is it? *turns around and sees a man walking towards them*
Man: I was hoping no one was home, I didn't want to have kill tonight. *takes out a knife*
Yuyu: *stands behind Hiei* What do we do?
Hiei: *pushes Yuyu back* Stan behind me.
Man: Sorry, but your life end HERE! *runs towards Hiei and thrusts his dagger at Hiei*
Hiei: *easily doges it*
Man: *smiles then takes out a taser with his other hand and tasers Hiei in the neck*
Hiei: Ah! *thinks," What is going on? I can't move.". Then falls to his knees*
Yuyu: Hiei!
Man: *kicks Hiei in the back on the neck* Ha!
Hiei: *Head hits a dresser and blacks out*
*a few hours later*
Hiei: *has images of Yuyu*...*slowly opens his eyes and sees Yuyu watching over him* What happen?
Yuyu: He tasered you, then knock you out.
Hiei: *sits up* Where is he?
Yuyu: *sits next to him* He's dead.
Hiei: *looks at Yuyu and notices her shoulder bleeding*
What happen to you?
Yuyu: *looks at Hiei then at her shoulder* it's ok it's not that deep.
Hiei: *covers Yuyu's wound* what did you do to kill him?
Yuyu: *looks at Hiei and smiles* A last resort plan...
~end of flash back~
Hiei: *wakes up and sees Kurama next to him unconscious* Kurama? *sits up and checks his heart beat* Good he's alive. *looks over and sees Kuwabara and Yusuke fighting off Damasu* How long have I been out?
Kurama: A while now..
Hiei: *looks over at Kurama*. Kurama, are you ok?
Kurama: Yes, I'm fine. *sits up* what about you?
Hiei: *nods*
Kuwabara&Yusuke: *fall back* Ahh!
Hiei: *Looks over* I know how to win.
[BBEAK]
Chapter 12
Hiei: *stands up and turns to Yusuke* stay out of this. This is my battle now.
Yusuke: What? You can't fight him alone Hiei! Me,
Kuwabara AND Kurama tried to fight him at once, and we STILL couldn't touch him.
Hiei: I don't care.
Damasu: *Laughs* What happen to you while you were knocked out? Did you realize you couldn't win, so you're just running in to battle hoping to be killed?
Hiei: Hn…
Kurama: Hiei.
Kuwabara: Is he right Kurama? is Hiei really going to do that?
Kurama: I don't know.
Yusuke: What do we do?
Kurama: What CAN we do?
Yusuke: *Looks at Hiei*
Kurama: *looks at Hiei and thinks about his past battles*
What are you planning Hiei?
Hiei: You ready?
Damasu: Yes, ready to kill. *smirks*
Hiei: *runs towards Damadu*
Damasu: *smirks and fades into the shadows* So predictable.
Hiei: *stops in his tracks* Grr…come out of hiding!
Damasu: I'm not hiding. *forms a ball of energy in his hand* I'm right behind you.
Hiei: *Quickly turns around and sees Damasu preparing to fire his attack*
Damasu: *Jumps in the air and throws his attack at Hiei* Bombs away! *laugh evilly*
Hiei: *Braces himself*
Kuwabara: What's he doing?
Yusuke: Hiei, get out of the way!
*Damasu's attach separates into eight energy balls and slams at Hiei's feet then smoke surrounds him*
Hiei: Aaahhh!
*the smoke clears and Hiei is laying face down on the ground*
Yusuke: Hiei!
Kurama: Not good.
Damasu: *Laughs and lands at Hiei's side* What a foolish demon! Did you really think you could live through that attack?
Kuwabara: Hiei can't be-..
Yusuke: No, Hiei couldn't be killed that easily.
Kurama…
Damasu: *Kicks Hiei in the side and sends him rolling a few feet* I told you, no one can ever beat me in my territory!
Hiei: *Stops rolling and lays flat on his back*...
Yusuke: I can't take this.
Kurama: just wait a little longer Yusuke.
Yusuke: What? *looks at Kurama* Hiei's being kicked around and you want us to wait?
Kurama: Yes.
Yusuke…*Looks back at Hiei*
Damasu: *takes a knife out of his pocket* Your life ends here! *stabs Hiei*
*a loud gun shot echoes through out Damasu’s territory*
Yusuke: What the-? What was that?
Kurama: The end of the battle.
Damasu: *Gasps in pain* What happened? *looks down and sees Hiei with a gun at his side, aimed at him*...That’s cheep.
Hiei: that’s life.
Damasu: *Falls over*...
Kurama: Hiei’s alright.
Yusuke: Alright Hiei!
Kuwabara: I don’t get it. I thought Hiei was near death?
Hiei: *Gets up and walks to the others* It’s called acting.
Yusuke: Where did you get the gun?
Hiei: Yuyu gave it to me about a month after I met her.
Kurama: *Stands up and walks to Hiei* How did you come up with that plan?
Hiei: Again, Yuyu.
~Flash back~
Hiei: *gets up to get the first aid kit.
Yuyu: Hiei, I’m fine really.
Hiei: No your not. *sits down next to Yuyu then opens the
kit* What happen after I was knocked out?
Yuyu: Well…
~a few hours ago~
Hiei: *Falls over and blacks out*
Yuyu: Hiei! *Runs to Hiei’s side*
Man: Now you die. *Walks closer to Hiei*
Yuyu: No, Stay away! *shields Hiei*
Man: *Grabs Yuyu’s right shoulder and punches her in the face* here.
Yuyu: Ah! *falls over on her side*
Man: …? *Walks over to her and pushes her on her back then smirks* Your life ends here. *Takes out a dagger from his pocket and raises his dagger over his head*
Yuyu:…
Man: *Falls to his knees and stabs Yuyu*
Yuyu: *moans in pain and grabs the mans arm*
Man: What? *Tries to get out of Yuyu’s grip*
Yuyu: *Grips tighter then opens her eyes and takes out a hand gun from under her night stand then pulls the trigger*
Man: *Eyes widen and then falls over*
~present time in flash back~
Yuyu: A few hours later, and here we are.
Hiei: *Finishes cleaning and bandaging Yuyu’s wound* I don’t understand why you did that in the first place.
Yuyu: I had to reach my gun without him noticing. So I made him focus on stabbing me, that way he wouldn’t notice my hand reaching under my night stand.
Hiei: Why did you kill him?
Yuyu: I don’t know, after I saw you unconscious. I felt like I had no chose.
Hiei: *Looks at Yuyu* Do you regret it?
Yuyu: *Looks at Hiei* Depends, Are you ok?
Hiei: Yes, I’m fine.
Yuyu: Then no, I don’t regret it. *Smiles*
Hiei: *Looks at Yuyu and smiles back*
~end of flash back~
Yusuke: What happen to his body?
Hiei: I don't know. I never thought to ask her.
Kurama: How long ago was that?
Hiei: about a year ago maybe.
Yusuke: Wow, We met her just six months ago. What took you so long to introduce her to us?
Hiei: I never thought about her meeting you guys.
Kuwabara: why not?
Hiei: I wasn't sure she'd take the news well.
Yusuke: What news?
Kurama: About some of us and yourself being demon?
Hiei: Yeah.
Yusuke: You haven’t told her yet?
Hiei:...No.
Kurama: She's going to find out soon.
Hiei: I know, that’s why I want to make sure I'm the one to tell her. Not him.
Yusuke: Right, *turns around and looks at Reapers castle* so lets get Yuyu back.
Kuwabara: Yeah!
*The Yuyu group walk into Reapers castle ready to take down Reaper*
