I was sitting on the ground, more confused than alarmed. One minute, I was falling, and Shino caught my arm to steady me, and the next, I was on the ground, a husky dog was sitting in front of me. Shino was no where in sight.
Kaoru and Tatsuya rushed over, huddling around the dog. Tatsuya said, "Shiro-san...oh please tell me you can some how get us out of this mess."
I frowned, pointing the dog, laughing like a crazy person. "Funny how the dog has the same name as Shino. Ha ha ha." I glanced up and saw Kai coming over to us, wondering why the two boys had stopped playing with him.
The two boys just exchanged glances between each other, neither sure what to say to me.
"What's wrong?" Kai asked me sweetly.
I pointed to the dog. "Shino was here, and no he isn't, but this dog is..." I wasn't really sure how to form my sentences anymore. Nothing seemed to make sense.
Kai grinned. "Shino can transform into a dog!" he pointed to the dog before petting him gently on the head.
"Ya. Shino can transform into a dog," I agreed, nodding my head. "How does that work exactly?" I asked the two boys.
