~Shino/Dog~
I smiled at Aibori. "Well I went outside already so that'll irritate him, I'm bringing home a couple of outsiders, and I ignored his phone call." They were all looking at me in horror. I just kept smiling. When we got home I took Aaralyn's hand. "You guys head in. I'm gonna take them to my moms." Tatsuya sighed. "You're gonna be late." I shrugged. "All the more reason for him to be mad at me." Aibori punched my arm. "Masochistic freak!" I smiled. "Better a masochistic freak than an annoying little brat Ai-Ai." I kept walking. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT!!!" Kai was looking around. "This is still outside the main house. There's the main gate we came through. This is where the family that's not zodiac lives. We live in the main house through that gate over there." Aaealyn's eyes widened. "It's like a mini town." I shrugged. "Big family...lots of money. I'd rather we were a normal family." I stopped and knocked on a door. My mom opened it. Her eyes widened. "S...Shino! Why aren't you at the meeting?!" I smiled. "I brought home a few friendly strays. Can I keep them?" She sighed. "I really hate your self aimed dog humor..." Then she noticed Aaralyn and Kai. "S...SHINO!" I pushed them inside. "Mom Aaralyn...Aaralyn Mom...Mom Kai." I sat her down at her table and sat my painting down. "Long story short. I made a new friend. She needs a place to stay." Mom was shaking her head. "It's forbiden and you know it. Who knows what Kanayuki will do!" I took her hands and forced her to look me in the eyes. "When was the last time I asked you for anything? When was the last time you saw me really smile? I'll take Kanayuki's anger. I could care less. Just...please." I looked at Aaralyn. "I want them to stay here." Mom sighed but it was weary sounding. "Fine. Maybe I can pull a few strings and get the family to hire her as a house maid. Then she'll have a little protection from Kanayuki." I nodded and kissed her hands. "Thanks mom." Then I stood up and headed for the door. "I'll be back for my painting. Why don't you show them around?" I closed the door before she answered and ran to the main house. When I got to Kanayuki's room I could hear yelling. I threw open the door to see Aibori at his feet. He froze and glared at me. "Well...it's about time you decided to grace us with your presence oh great Shino. The zodiac mutt!" He stomped over and looked up into my eyes. "Where were you?" I looked at the floor. "I was outside. Painting." He slapped me across the face. "WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER WHEN I CALLED? I saw Kaoru and Tatsuya help Aibori up. Then I looked Kanayuki in the eyes and smiled. "Cause I wanted to make you angry." He slapped me again. "HOW DARE YOU!!" I was still smiling. He grabed my hair and yanked my head down til I was on my knees. "UNGRATEFUL MUTT!!" He kicked me in the gut. I gasped and weaker my arm around my stomach. He let go of my hair. "Dogs belong on the floor at their Master's feet." He walked over to his desk and sat down. I noticed not everyone was here yet. Kaoru ran over and knelt down next to me. "KAORU!" He jumped. "Y...yes..Kanayuki-San..?" Kanayuki smiled. "The mutt is being punished. Get away from him." Kaoru reluctantly went back over to Aibori and Tatsuya. I smiled. So far so good. I could care less if he hits me. At least he wasn't hitting them.
